I’m not saying it’s rubbish, it was probably a prank but at the age of eleven I witnessed that message. You can believe me or not, I don’t care, I live in the south of England and remember it like it was yesterday. I was all alone and I’ve never come across anyone else who experienced it.
I believe you that it really did happen. It could have been a very early pioneer ‘hacker’ of the human being species in my opinion, especially as the voice mentions aquarius and the new age- which was a very popular topic in the 70s. I have no doubt myself that there is definitely life outside our little planet and that we are being visited by that life.

I remember hearing about this (back in the days before the internet) and always believed it was a prank. Bunch of telecoms engineers/students get hold of a transmitter and hijack the TV signal in their local region.

I have to say that in all likelihood this is a fake.
The reason I say this is simply that it would not take much to overpower a handful of TV transmitters with a more powerful “bandit” transmitter that is setup for the same audio frequency. I am a retired radio/tv engineer and can attest to this as fact.
The other thing that says hoax or fake about this is the voice of the “alien” speaks with a British accent. To me that is a dead giveaway it is fake. If a true alien was to speak to humans in this manner, the possibility of it speaking with a British accent is pretty slim. I would expect any contact from an alien race to be more generic, without an accent at all.
