ANGEL OF CHAOS

ANGEL OF CHAOS

The death of a black teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri is once again raising the wrong questions in the media and the urge to invoke the ghost of Trayvon Martin is equally divisive.

The questions and assumptions being produced in the court of public opinion now about the case are quite literally the same assumptions and theories that are usually discussed in countries with eroding civil rights and lack of consideration for due process.

The lack of due process and the lack of defense of constitutional right has been the impetus for what can be seen as excessive force by law enforcement.

The relationship between law enforcement and he communities they serve is becoming militant and dysfunctional. Especially in communities that are impoverished, and mostly African-American.

When we flip through the television channels and see the chaos all over the world we can surmise that what we are seeing is situation normal in the apocalypse. We can laugh uncomfortably at what we are seeing in the United States as we see that there are attempts and the successful execution of carrying out real time warzone activities in our own back yard.

Some would say that it is cynical to say that we should get used to it, however the grim reality is that most of what we are seeing has been building for some time and was quite frankly part of the plan the very moment Barack Obama took the oath of office.

It is hard to comprehend that what we are seeing is the literal controlled demolition of the United States and that Democracy is slowly passing away into despotism.

For big business Despotism was often a useful tool for securing the foreign market and perusing profits in the past century.

We must look at Mussolini’s Italy and how history shows us that angles of chaos visit this planet from time to time and leave their mark on history. The idea of chaos is relative and a reflexive response to abject fascism that we are seeing making a return and is being nurtured today by our government.

Mussolini’s government created a partnership with big business, the education system, the health and welfare system and found that it was easier to control the people by having the government’s hand in all of these areas.

It was Mussolini that defined fascism and created the parameters by which we can judge a government as it moves ever closer to a despotic regime. It was a partnership with big business, education, healthcare and the relaxing of regulations for the corporate animals that created an environment of crime, misery, fear and chaos.

It provided for the necessity of a militarized policing of the people and an intelligence apparatus that made it a point to spy and eavesdrop on innocent conversations, leaving the people paranoid and afraid of its own leadership.

What we are seeing with riots and a militarized response is part of the authoritarian fist that appears to our image parameters as brutal and akin to perhaps the Stasi or even the Gestapo during the rule of Adolf Hitler.

What is most disturbing today is the incredulity of the American people towards the enabling of such authoritarian police state rule. The talking points of the various talk shows do not provide for cause and effect. They merely encourage the taking of sides, where it is once again a case of whether or not the citizen criminal should be executed in the public square without the constitutional right of “due process.”

In despotism the mob rules, and in the collective discussion the mob is supported as the authoritarian fist of enforcement is always declared right and the citizen is always desperate and has a record of bouts with the law and therefore deserves to die in a moment of chaos.

This is an example of heinous authoritarianism and is a product of what can be called the “Predator State.”

The Predator state as we now can see it is using its policies of extrajudicial execution to suffocate and silence dissent. They are also using their arms in the body politic to police and intimidate the citizenry and in the case of what is happening in Ferguson Missouri, they are also silencing the fourth estate by tear gassing, shooting and arresting members of the media that wish to report what is happening there.

Despotism does not begin to describe what is being forced upon us all.

Edmund Burke famously noted that “all it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing.” Unfortunately, evil is, indeed, doing quite well, largely because too many fail to believe it exists.

When Americans see the situation going on in Ferguson Missouri they look to the media for answers and many of the opinions about the situation are based on prejudice and the ability of the media and propaganda to convince you that might makes right and the divisive nature of getting opinions from Al Sharpton is exactly what all African Americans think.

The truth is that the media will not ask some very important questions about the militarized police state we live in now.

The media and in fact much of what can be called local media fails to ask why our police officers now have to wear camouflaged gear when they are fighting battles in front of 7-11 stores strip malls and Wal-Mart?

In Ferguson, the police are using Martial law control methods for crowds of peaceful protestors. The argument is that they are actually trying to fend off looters and thugs. However the truth is far more grim.

The Police in Ferguson declared that people are not allowed to walk on the sidewalk or face arrest.

The police have tear gassed reporters and cameramen that have been on the scene. They have arrested reporters from at least two major newspapers and a number of independent journalists have been shot and an Alderman for the 25th ward in St, Louis Antoine French was arrested for just “being there” according to a police spokesperson.

We have seen video documentation of people who have tried to avoid the crowds having to deal with tear gas and flash bombs in their own back yards.

How can anyone support this?

Most police officers are good cops and good people. It is an unquestionably difficult job, especially in the cultural climate we find ourselves in today. We see lawlessness and treachery taking place in the streets and our police are there trying to survive from day to day in a hostile chaotic environment.

However even with all of the good men that are in the police forces across the country we have to recognize that there is a systemic problem with today’s law enforcement.

We can blame it all on the government because of the incentivized militarization of police precincts and small town police agencies.

Our government is responsible for funding and condoning the reality of municipal governments building what are essentially small armies where police departments compete to acquire military gear that goes far beyond what most of Americans think of as law enforcement.

I have heard all of the arguments about how this is necessary and in fact none of them have satisfied me. What has been done is that we have militarized the police, with their new implements of war, they can declare an area with a shelter in place decree and then from there abuse an already eroding system of checks and balances.

Under the leadership of Barack Obama civil liberties and constitutional protections like due process have been negated. The collective attitude in America seems to be supportive rather than negative. Many are under the impression that it s for the greater good in fighting against terrorism and the war on drugs.

However there are a group of people that seldom get the spotlight in media matters and those are the people that get the paranoid sense that their government and the police state is targeting them.

Once again it must be emphasized that no police agency should act like they are rolling through a warzone in an urban area and yet it continues and Ferguson Missouri is not the only area where these actions could take place.

When we see the military overreach within police agencies, coupled with the erosion of civil liberties which eliminates the constitutional guarantees of due process we see that police tend to act as if they are judge and jury.

The Ferguson crisis is also rife with racial disparities, which is fueling more anger and hardens the resolve of the citizens, that the police and their government is targeting them.

The events in Ferguson are illustrating quite successfully that race or racial tensions skew the application of criminal justice in the United States. It also is showing that when a group decides to fight back, when their community is seeing injustice and dares to protest that they will be marginalized and placed in the same category as thugs and looters and deserve the jackboot treatment form the police.

Those who defend the increasingly threatening police state have already decided that Americans should sacrifice their liberty for a dangerous, militant, and false security apparatus.

The apologists and the defenders of the police state probably are unaware of how dangerous it is to have police officers adopt a military attitude in a neighborhood.

Many apologists have the unfounded belief that our very form of government is immune to collapsing into a different form, that perhaps we as Americans would know full well when our government is teetering on the brink of socialism, communism, or even despotism.

Back When Barack Obama was running for president he spoke in Berlin, he spoke as a “World Citizen” and not as a presidential hopeful. He spoke in front of the Victory tower. Coincidentally the last major political speech made at the Victory Tower in Berlin Germany, was delivered by Adolph Hitler.

It was an odd and unpleasant venue that reminds us that one is slowly converted by the ineffable but very real power of the despot and how we have become stuck within our choices. We don’t know whether to be an unwitting victim or a fellow perpetrator. So it has become fashionable to downplay the notion that your choices are not choices at all. You have not had the time to understand what is at stake.

As I feverishly connect the dots through history with civil wars and plots of assassination
I have fixated myself on the words of Barack Obama during his in inauguration as
president.

Many people have forgotten that Obama used “forced similarities” or “forced
meme” programming about the Civil war and Abraham Lincoln in his speeches and
presentations.

Obama modeled himself after Lincoln as a unifying national figure.
Coincidentally they are both from Illinois, They both had their heritage questioned,
they are both looked at as presidents who want to improve race relations, and like
Lincoln, Obama understands the power of presidential oratory. However the Lincoln
comparisons have their drawbacks.

They must be understood and many of them have to be avoided. Many people believe that like Lincoln, Obama may find himself in a situation that he cannot get out of. Like in Lincoln’s day, civil war and national unrest are unavoidable as we plunge into a New World Order.

I have often said that with the Militarized police and all of the eroding civil liberties the United States is destined to become a gulag or a battlefield.

It is our future and it is hidden in the words and speeches of Barack Obama. He constantly has been nailing into the minds of Americans that we are now preparing to “finish the work of perfecting our union.” Referring to America as an “unfinished working” or “a union that is about to be perfected.”

The unfinished working can also be referenced in The Gettysburg address. Lincoln
spoke of the unfinished work that is the United States. That the union will be perfected
by the great Civil War. Obama repeated this charge and has made it his theme. The
United States will change its constitution, its Declaration of Independence and maybe
even its borders.

“What is required is the same perseverance and idealism that our founders displayed, what is required is a new declaration of independence, not just in our nation, but in our own lives. We should never forget that we are the heirs of those early patriots, ordinary men and women who refused to give up when it all seemed so improbable, and who somehow believed that they had the power to make the world anew, That is the spirit that we must reclaim today.”
– Barack Hussein Obama

Mao Tse-tung once said that change comes from the barrel of a gun. So while we are using communist ideology it is also said that the proletariat will always revolt against
a capitalistic system when the economic inequality of a nation pushes over 50% of
the population into poverty, and which in the United States shows that just 5% of the
population controls 63,5% of all wealth and assets.

In the United States over 46 million people are now reported to be using Food Stamps to keep themselves from starvation, over one-third are surviving on government
handouts, an estimated 12 million have been thrown out of their homes, over 23% of
these people are paying mortgages on homes whose value is less than what is owed,
and, according to the Federal Reserve, the average American family has lost 23% of
their household wealth since 2007.

The increased police state is not looking good for national security as health has plummeted, suicide rates are up and lifestyles have had to change because many Americans now have had to be introduced to the criminal justice system. 65 million Americans are told that they will never have any hope of getting a job as they have criminal records.

With these statistics, we can bet that there will most certainly be more incidents and crisis like we are seeing in Missouri.

The bottom line is police are looking, and acting, more like soldiers than cops, and statistics are making most American citizens look like potential criminals.
