HEAD LIKE A HOLE

When there is trouble brewing in America and it is obvious that people feel targeted by the police state. I often get e-mails from people telling me that I am a fear monger for merely reporting the abuse and demonstrating man’s inhumanity and brutality in these micro attacks against the state. People write me from all over saying that it is my responsibility to come up with a solution to these problems.

I stop and I ponder how I am supposed to save the world with just a microphone and my words. Being the messenger is a thankless job at times and as I have said in past shows that when the mainstream media finally picks up on stories that we have presented months prior it becomes an arduous task to explain again the position I have because I tend to be objective and even though I have my beliefs I try to set them aside for a moment and try to be an observer looking in on a situation.

Every little skirmish, every disagreement, every riot and every protest should be seen as a symptom of an even bigger problem.

Most Americans have a tendency to be in denial that what they are seeing is deep seeded trouble in their government. They seem to think that the undercurrent of oppression and social tension has a tendency to simmer down and go away. The tension seems to have been cultivated for years and now we are beginning to see it explode in various areas in the United States. People can remain oblivious to these so-called isolated incidents but it must be pointed out that this country has gradually embraced the idea that brutal force and action has to always be used in cases of criminal activity.

We are no longer satisfied with constitutional guarantee of due process and it is really terrifying that we even need to have a debate over whether or not the President has the power to order the deaths of American citizens, and the uses of militarized drones in order to carry out the procedure of executing perceived threats without trials.

It seems that the public has the tendency to cheer on a militarized brutality against an accused criminal in the public forum. It is also unfortunate that most cases of brutal treatment against citizens from a militarized police is actually the result of informants that provide erroneous information in the first place. There are witnesses that tend to stretch the truth or make up stories and then the media goes with the empirical evidence that is absorbed by the court of public opinion. Even in the face of credulity the people will rise up against the combat ready police.

This poses a danger to safety and liberty. The militarized policing of the United States have resulted in innocent people defending themselves only to be out gunned and shot down by the police. This could be avoided if constitutional law were to be applied.

It seems that in what appear to be combat style situations that there is a tendency to escalate the situation rather than to de-escalate a situation. This appears to be by design since the solutions are right in front of us, but we are so angry now we choose to face certain death and injury during a protest or when the criminal element decides to burn down a neighborhood in a fit of rage and so called anarchist spirit.

There is absolutely nothing subtle about militarizing the local police now. Everything that has been considered a conspiracy theory is now seeing the light of day.

Back in the days of the Cold War the media portrayed the USSR as a policed and militarized gulag, with soldiers tending to police duties, and murdering people in the streets with machine guns. The irony now is that the leader of Russia, Putin, has declared that the United States is not as free as they think and that Russia is far more democratic.

It is interesting to point out that the Austrian Association for Democracy Ranking compiled a rating of democracies in various countries and the United States ranked 15th.

The list contains 104 countries. The leaders were Norway, Sweden and Finland. The top ten also included Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, New Zealand, Ireland, Germany and Austria, the home of the rating. We didn’t make the top ten and the reasons are based on political, economic and gender indicators as well as level of corruption in local and national governments and human rights. The United States scored very low in how government takes care of its citizens with regards to justice and law enforcement. On a civil liberties scale we are failing.

Today in America we have conflicting visions of the future and conflicting ideas on how we are to save ourselves if America falls to some criminal or cancerous ideology. There are many people who are waiting for the starting gun to react to such a catastrophe. There are others that see that the cancerous ideology of tyranny already has reared its head and no matter what we do the beast system is destined to become a figure that moves throughout our unfinished history.

Even the experts now are wondering if it is time for America to just gave up and adapt to its fate. That what has happened is just the result of realizing that we as citizens have less than zero influence on changing policies and actions in this country.

I have to state the obvious and that is America’s moral center has been compromised and that there is nothing more to rally around because we have somehow lost our way. We are now adrift on very turbulent waters. The question is whether or not we are going to accept the truth or are we going to detach from it and pretend that nothing is happening or that it will work itself out.

There are many people who have fallen for the emotional numbing that is happening now that it looks like things are bad. In fact there have been a few observers who are now wondering if Our President is suffering from some sort of emotional detachment and has decided to merely “act out” in front of the camera, demonstrating or feigning sympathy and concern and then merely walking away changing clothes and playing a good game of golf.

I noticed this when he made his speech about Ferguson and then about ISIS and the beheading of photo journalist James Foley. I don’t know if anyone has noticed that lately when he addresses the American people about these tragedies that he speaks with an apathetic monotone voice.

In some of the speech he avoids direct eye contact with the camera as if there is something inside him that sends waves of guilt throughout his brain. It is kind of like when a child avoids eye contact when he knows he has done something wrong or is caught in a lie.

When the president made his speech about James Foley it looked as if someone pulled him out of bed and demanded that he addressed the American people. He looked groggy, strung out and was wearing an open collar instead of a tie. I then realized that he was still in Martha’s Vineyard on vacation.

Obama was saying something about already feeling the ache of Foley’s absence and blah blah blah here.. and blah blah blah .. ISIL is a Cancer.. blah blah replacing terrorism with hope .. blah blah.. all the while it seemed that his mind was elsewhere.. quit possibly thinking about heading out to the Vineyard Golf Course to meet NBA star Alonzo Mourning and others for yet another round of Golf. Does it strike you as a bit odd that the President is spending a lot of time away from matters that need attention?

Many Washington Commentators are saying that the President is suffering from some psychological problem that is creating an emotional detachment from his responsibilities as president.

Some say that his detachment could wind up becoming a security risk, others say it already has with the situation at our borders, the near civil war that could have exploded in Misspouri and now the beheading of American journalists.

It has been reported that Obama tends to skip out of CIA security briefings and merely skims through the minutes on his IPAD.

His lack of leadership has created a reason for politics to undermine law. We see the president give his statements that really are meaningless and then he plays golf.

If the president is not going to be serious about life and death, how can he expect us to be serious?

It is becoming more convenient to get into silly political and media debates about the police state and the mob mentality because our leadership is not in the business of putting a stop to both. Our President is detached emotionally and is playing golf with celebrities.

Without the President’s concern the mob rules with the media fanning the flames. What the mob cannot achieve by process of legislation, or through the courts, they can succeed at by the oldest method in the book; the intimidation and destruction of anyone who does not support them. There are also many people that will speak on behalf of the mob mentality. They praise the police state and marginalize protestors as revolutionaries that need to be placed in graves.

I think the apologists for the police state know exactly what they are doing and they know the social conditions which essentially allow part of society to terrorize everyone else into obedience.

What do the apologists think that the people who are protesting do when the militarized army shows up in their armor?

Submit? Salute? Surrender?

Americans always choose to fight – and the cowards are the ones who call them criminals. Not all protesters are criminals and yet it is easy for everyone to say so because they too are emotionally detached as to what is really going on.

Those of us who admit that we were not there, and do not know what happened when Michael Brown was shot by a policeman in Ferguson, Missouri, seem to be in the minority.

Everyone has an opinion that has been formed around the kernel of prejudice.

The “rule of law” is considered a handicap by some people it gets in the way of wanting to see a supposed guilt ridden suspect hang in the public square.

The same Americas that are detached from true American values consider the Constitution to be a handicap to their concept of “good government”. Both of which boil down to “We can do whatever we want, to whoever we want, whenever we want, and nobody is allowed to tell us ‘no’ and those that do are fear mongers, un American and race baiters.

It is all a symptom of an even greater psychosis brought on by trauma in the United States.

We are told by the self help gurus that dissatisfaction, paranoia, and anxiety are all good for you if you channel it into something satisfying and constructive.

When I hear that, I find myself recalling the Orwellian idea that we should be satisfied with the world that the elites have created. Today we have somehow adopted a sort of Stockholm syndrome where for some reason we have accepted that war is the panacea for peace, freedom has been reduced to a permissive, politically correct slavery, fear is healthy, ignorance is strength, and stupidity is praised as the new intelligence.

Then I ask myself, if it is mentally healthy to frame everything into an Orwellian parallel? It can really make you crazy to be in the middle of some strange dystopia and Americans who can’t see it should wake up to the mental hopscotch that is being played.

I know how it is and what I see, and you may not be awake to it, but we need to kick out the denial and focus on the idea that there seems to be a conspiracy of silence about the world falling apart.

The situation we are facing cannot be changed by voting, or impeachment or anything else that would give satisfaction to those who still believe in the left-versus-right paradigm.

The left wing and the right wing are most certainly two sides of the same coin that has been minted as worthless currency.

Both ends of the spectrum have contributed to the collapse that we are witnessing.
