My Original Q&A with Sandrea Mosses

1. What was your guiding force and prime inspiration behind creating your book, “Vanquishing Ghosts and Demons A Medium’s Harrowing Tales of Removing Evil Spirits”?

I never set out to write to a book. I had been doing this work for many years and never charged for it. My husband had the feeling that others would be interested in my experiences, so be suggested I write these stories down. This I did. Over time I put these stories together, and they became this book.

2. How exactly did your path of knowing you are a medium begin origins wise?

I was always different as a child, but my gift and calling didn’t really emerge until I was in my later 30s. I had always had a very keen interested in anything which was a little different. I began to read the books of the English medium Doris Stokes in the 1970s, and then Steven O’Brien’s work. Then when the time was right, certain people came into my life, and my pathway began.

3. Could you tell us the story of a demon pretending to be a guardian angel and tormenting a woman to madness?

Yes. I found this quite harrowing. Valerie decided to do something with her life, and began to train as a Crystal Therapy Healer. As she practised, something began to talk to her, and she began to listen. It told her it was an angel sent to help her, and she trusted this being whole heartedly. She really believed it was a Guardian Angel sent to help her. The more she trusted, the closer it came. Even when it became a little sinister, she still believed. Finally the realisation hit her she had been duped, by a dark evil entity pretending to be her Guardian Angel. Unfortunately by the time she faced the truth, it had a hold over her whole life and was controlling everything she did. She was spending hours a day writing pages of notes, messages from the angelic realm. This entity had a real hold on her and had no intensions of letting go. It took several visits to rid her of this darkness. During the banishment Valerie began to talk in a very strange language as the entity fought to stay here.

4. This sort of topic of spiritual warfare and exorcism like rituals always make me a bit uncomfortable. How do you know its not just madness much like the Christian witch burnings or Nigerians burning people alive for being cat shapeshifters? How do you know its genuine? I am sure discernment has to play a big role right in sorting through truth and madness right?

In the first instance, I have to trust that the person who has contacted me has a real problem. This is not usually a figment of their imagination or an illness. Secondly, I never work alone. I always work with three other Mediums, one must be a healer. I do not tell the others what I know is going on. Only when my human helpers have been able to detect that what the person is saying is right, that is, they can see, or sense, or hear, do I then begin to proceed. In other words I want evidence from my colleagues that there is something happening here, it is not just a person’s imagination.

5. Would you share how you personally deal with these troublesome spirits? What are your tools and methods?

Each case is different. I rely on my spirit Guides and helpers to guide me and show me the best way to deal with a troublesome or difficult entity. I feel I and my colleagues are the Earth link. Through us the ‘other side’ are able to lead and guide us to the best method to deal with each individual case. So we will use a variety of different methods to shift the entity from our world, back to where they belong. Certain things remain the same, such as the need to create a doorway to guide or push them through. Visualisation is a very powerful tool, especially when more than one of you are joined together, creating that vision.

6. What can you share with us about your spirit guides?

Everyone has a Spirit Guide. Mediums who are involved in different activities often have more than one Guide. White Feather is my main Guide. He is Shaman and he guides and leads us when we are dealing with disembodied entities.

7. Would you share a story with us from the book that you think our readers might finding fascinating? A wild card question if you will.

The wisdom and knowledge of children, who appear to know more than us, is something which really fascinates me. I have included several child- related stories in the book. Not least the small child, who was still heavily reliant on his pacifier, who astonished his parents by his ability to talk to me. A child who went from shyly nodding when I said hello, to telling me in great detail where the entity was currently hiding from me, what it did to his little sister and where he had hidden on my last visit. His parents were speechless. They continually shot glances of amazement to each other, as their child, who could barely speak, spoke of the ‘nasty man’, upstairs, grimacing his face into the scariest pose he could make, while holding his small hands in claw like stances, to emphasise this evil entity, who had haunted their home.
