Don’t like Dark Meat. No meat and all Bones equals the useless part of any animal. Too, they smell like they don’t know what toliet paper or a bar of soap is, and they sweat all the time like they just got done running from the kops. I bet you’d be first in line for southern fried Chicken n’ collar greens.

Not into Dark Meat. Dark meat has too many juices flowing from their forhead and body, like they just got done running miles from the kops, and never was taught what toilet paper or soap is and used for. Man, isn’t dark meat tastie because u can smell them 10 minutes before they arrive?
No meat, all Bones; and no brains; you know, the useless part of any animal. Dark meat needs to be coated in BBQ sauce because it tastes so bad that you need 10x more sauce then meat to cover the aweful black meat taste… You can but a ton of BBQ sauce on anything; P00P. sticks rocks. Guess those were brought up whos parents use to buy outdated cheap meat from the alley pimp, and have their kids think that is the best meat money can buy.

Sarcastic much? While I have never heard of anyone blowing up feral hogs before, Im sure that saved time and probably several trips to the hospital. Did you actually look at the picture those hogs were as big as cows! Those were not the docile piggies that are loaded into a truck and taken to market. Maybe you should look up the word feral. ONE of those is very hard to kill. And when you do, two men can’t lift it, it requires a tractor or something bigger. One more thing “Mark, the Beast” I dont think Texas was particulary known for its inbreeding, that would be more in the Eastern US because the families migirated together from the “old country” and lived close and didnt have a lot of ethnic diversity. I believe Texas had plenty of ethnic diversity.
From an ethical hunters point of view this video is very distubing. Yes feral swine are a huge problem but anyone who is willing to kill just for the thrill shouldn’t be issued hunting permits. I was taught at an early age that if you kill something you eat it. While I’m no fan of PETA, these jacklegs should be charged with cruelity to animals. Most states do not have a limit on feral hogs but do have a section on “legal arms and ammuntion” and I’m willing to bet tannerite isn’t on that list.
Agree completely. I hunt. I don’t know any hunters that would do this, or consider it ethical to do. But then I don’t hunt with other hunters who are in it for any joy in killing. I hunt with others who hunt for their dinner. We say a prayer of thanks to the animal for giving us food.
While I understand that feral hogs will KILL people and destroy property….with all the hunger in the country….there is bound to be a better way. (There are plenty of people in the south who would be proud to get pork in any form.)

i guess the counter argument is that if you were to use a rifle, the other hogs would be gone the second the first one was shot. but then again, why not just trap them and slaughter them?
Humans have used the corral system for ages to trap animals. It would work in this case.
