In 1883 A Possible Bigfoot Was Killed In Idaho (Video)
D.L.Soucy tells an interesting story from an account that happened in Idaho around 1883. Apparently, some travelers killed a wildman. The description fits what we describe as Bigfoot today. Soucy writes:
We do not hear much about Bigfoot in the state of Idaho, so I thought I would share these two articles I found that may be indicative of class A Bigfoot encounters.
The first article is from the Crawfordsville Star newspaper, dated 22 March, 1883. The piece says that the, or rather a, creature that may have been the “Wild Man of Camas” was killed by some travelers on the Camas Prairie, which is east of Boise.
The creature described was said to have been extremely tall, covered all over with two inch hair, had nails that resembled claws, an unusually large head, and wore nothing but a rabbit skin robe.
The second article comes out of Chesterfield Idaho, and describes an eight foot tall hairy human monster, with feet that left tracks 22 inches long and seven inches wide.
To me, both of these descriptions, and especially the latter, describe what may well have been what we call Bigfoot of Sasquatch today.
