Pakistan School Attack: Taliban Militants Kill 126 in Peshawar, Take Hostages

PESHAWAR, Pakistan — Uniformed militants attacked a school, killing at least 126 people and taking hostages on Tuesday, an official said – an atrocity condemned by the U.S. as “senseless and inhumane.”

“The gunmen entered class by class and shot some kids one by one,” a student who was in the school at the time told local media.

Provincial official Bahramand Khan said at least 126 people were killed and 122 injured. More than 100 of the dead were school children, he added. The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the assault, which appeared to be targeting the the children of senior military officials.

Bombs planted by the attackers slowed rescue efforts, a military official said, adding that operations at the scene were “closing up”.

I don’t even know where to begin with this story. According to the account linked above the Taliban poured gasoline on one teacher and set her on fire making her class watch her burn alive. This is right out of hells kitchen. There are no other words to describe these actions other than demonic. These people who committed these heinous acts need to be brought to justice.

As long as nobody in Pakistan dares or agrees to blame ISI for its role in creation of these beasts and then continued support to them calling them as their ‘strategic asserts’, nothing is going to change… The Takfiri ideology supported by the ‘black intelligence’ of Pakistan is the root cause of terrorism not only in Pakistan but elsewhere in the world. I am fed up of talking to those Pakistanis who continue to blame India and Afghanistan for every problem and ignore the horrible crimes of their own intelligence agencies.

….Such a heart breaking news….There is NO WORD that can convey the SADNESS these family goes through….These SAVAGE BARBARIC ACTIONS….Are the result of long times of Saudi Barbarians brain washing version of Islam for the LAST 40 years or more….Wish the WORLD realize MUSLIMS have been on the receiving end of these BARBARIC EXTRIMISTS actions….May wisdom and PEACE prevail!!….Our DEEP heart felt condulances to the family and nation of Pakistan& ALL Muslims!

we pakistani people are facing our own politically produced extremists and so called jihadists ,they were born to kill innocent shia muslims in pkistan ,but now this heart broken accident that took place in my country is probably the entry of ISIS in pakistan ,and now we have nothing to do except crying on our chidren and innocent citizens .RIP

The political culture in Pakistan needs to change before anything else. Countries like KSA, Qatar, and UAE have been supporting the Taliban all these years as well elements within the Pakistani ISI. The Pakistani government does enough to please its American masters, but on the other hand covertly still supports these elements. This is a terrible tragedy. As a parent I would be mad as hell at my government for creating this atmosphere, where the Taliban have a freehand to do as the please.

There is a supernatural component to this atrocity and unfortunately, I believe we will see more of this type of attack in the coming months. As I posted a while ago, our malls and schools here in the USA are extremely vulnerable to a terrorist attack. In closing todays post: Mosques are being built all over the USA. There are now over 6 million muslims in America. Do we have any guarantee that the same type of hostage taking will not happen here? I will predict there will be an event in this country, and unfortunately, perhaps soon. Jihad has become a way of life to many and this is acted out in atrocities like we see in Pakistan with the murder and beheadings of children. Honor killings, hostage taking and the murder of innocents has no place in America. The question is what do we do to stop it? If we go back 30 years, the word Jihad was not part of the average American lexicon, now it is talked about all the time. Are there conservative Muslims who will speak out against this latest atrocity coming on the heels of the Australian hostage crises? I hope so. In the meantime, be alert when you go into the mall this Christmas season….
