A Clockwerk Lemon
Academia has long been thought of as the “marketplace of ideas,” the arena where truth may be pursued through dispassionate discourse and openness to competing views. Yet higher education in America has moved a great distance from this ideal and its practice.
Too many of our colleges and universities have become closed enclaves of cliquishness bias and intolerance. They believe they are learning critical thinking when in reality they learn a stunted education of closed-mindedness.
Everywhere we look these institutions are dominated by “political correctness,” the common theme of which is disdain and disapproval of the American traditions of individualism, free enterprise, and constitutionally limited government.
No amount of criticism or doubt from outside the educational system seems to affect either the professors or the administrators, who claim to be the stewards of the younger generation placed in their intellectual and moral care.
Sadly more often than not, they demonstrate contempt for those who challenge their entitlement to mentor and mold our children as they see fit.
Their conduct shows that they consider themselves answerable to no one but themselves.
School systems provide programming from the government and grooming from the private sector. Any doubts about or dissent against how and what they teach is responded to with shouts of “academic freedom.” That phrase has become a mantra to ward off the demons: those of us who may not agree with the “wisdom” they wish to “share” with our children.
The reason why I feel it is necessary to bring this up is because of the Presidents new war on extremist views or extremism.
President Obama has begun a debate on the issue of terrorism and Islam asking Americans to recognize that just because the terrorists claim they represent Islam doesn’t make it so.
Obama says “Why give the terrorists what they want?”
He believes we can defeat terrorism by being educated and understanding the facts, as complex as they may be.
He concludes that we are a smart country and that it is a smart move to introduce into the school curriculum ways to identify extremism.
Americans are not the most educated people in the world but they are smart. It’s just that their emotions and angers often trump their reason and rationalism.
So when President Barack Obama begins a national debate by clearly stating that we should not surrender to the terrorists by describing them as “Muslims,” as they demand, but rather recognize that the terrorists do not represent Islam or Muslims and never have.
Of course, that is a complicated message that requires thought, education, understanding and comprehension of the challenges America faces. It runs counter to the way many Americans think, which is simplistically and depending far too often on stereotypes, racism and even hatred.
The truth is many Americans who claim to know what Muslims think of what they do are simply educated to the tune of the latest bombing, beheading, or invasion that is reported on the nightly news.
The question is whether or not Americans are willing to concede that there are a lot of Muslims in the world and that a great number of them have become extremists and have vowed to live a fundamentalist and militant lifestyle because they have been influenced by apocalyptic brainwashing.
There really has been no attempt to change the minds of the world where the mainstream media, Hollywood, and the Military entertainment complex has created the images of us versus them and that we are being scolded by the media and bumper sticker patriots that it is un-American to not see movies like Zero Dark Thirty or American Sniper.
President Obama is also over optimistic that he can teach Muslims how to be better Muslims just with education. Hatred and bigotry takes longer to breed into someone then just a course on tolerance.
We see these types of presentations all the time for Human Resource training and they are unsuccessful.
Haters goanna hate as the expression goes and the pipedream of forced tolerance and programming sounds like a page taken from A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess.
Alex, a criminal is rehabilitated or reprogrammed by being forced to watch violent films while listening to “Beethoven’s 9th Symphony.” Trauma used in A Clockwork Orange illustrated the sick and depraved ways that a prison system out of control can rehabilitate a prisoner in a short amount of time.
Alex of course had his eyes mechanically held open so that he could watch the brutal film sequences that included bodies stacked like cordwood at Auschwitz, massive beheadings and self immolation.
Ironically the American people do not have their eyes pried wide open to see it, but the same traumatic images are being provided by ISIS as we hear and in some cases witness mass beheadings and the burning of children and others in cages.
To be honest it looks as if the trauma based programming speaks for itself and Obama’s attempts at teaching us right from wrong are hollow overtures that would, if implemented lead to programs that would rival the military MK-ULTRA programs.
Virtual reality applications of violence and drugs to force rehabilitation have now been tried in Spain and England and many people see the activity as torture and mind control.
The BBC recently reported about one experiment involving a volunteer placed in a simulation in which he looks in a mirror and sees the reflection of a girl. An adult then subjected the girl to abuse. The simulation presumably makes the volunteer imagine what it would be like to be the victim of the abuse. There are numerous ways in which these simulations could be used in the context of different kinds of crimes—the uncanny valley becomes a trip through terror. The drugs and trauma once again add a layer to the already sick mind.
The question is, does it constitute cruel and unusual punishment? We have accepted the idea of torture for terrorists during the Bush administration using the Newspeak of “Enhanced interrogation” and the result is one of the tortured terrorists has become caliph for ISIS.
ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was “released from Camp Bucca (a.k.a “Iraq’s GITMO”) by Obama in 2009.
There have been several articles by mainstream and independent sources that place Baghdadi at a detention facility in Iraq called in 2009.
There was also a Daily Beast interview with Army Col. Kenneth King, the former commander of Camp Bucca. That article said King knew Baghdadi at the camp and that he didn’t expect to see him become the leader of a spectacularly vicious and brutal movement.
“I’m not surprised that it was someone who spent time in Bucca but I’m a little surprised it was him,” King said. “He was a bad dude, but he wasn’t the worst of the worst.”In this storyline, Baghdadi was handed over to Iraqi justice system late in 2009 shortly before Camp Bucca closed.
The same government that wants to rehabilitate Muslims is the same government that wants to teach disillusioned kids about how to avoid extremism.
Oh the irony, it is similar to a war chemical company like Monsanto caring about foods and manipulating plant life in order to ensure what they call healthy genetic manipulation of plants for sustenance.
What is unfortunate is that it appears that Obama’s solution to all of this radicalization and extremism is to push our children through an intellectual sieve of collectivism; as a result, these young people leave college with no proper and vital understanding of freedom, self-responsibility, and the character and value of a free society. They enter adulthood unaware of the noble and courageous struggle that was carried on over the centuries in the Western world to establish the legacy of liberty and prosperity that too many of us take for granted.
A steadily growing percentage of Americans realize some form of threat does exist that actually challenges the continued existence of this Republic.
Of course we live in times where scapegoating happens between races, political groups and religious groups. We all hear that it is all the fault of the Jews, the blacks, the immigrants and the Muslims. But the truth is far more obvious. The truth is that the threat to the republic is from a place that has been hidden in plain sight all along.
The threat to the republic is known as “the Permanent Revolution of the Open Conspiracy.” We have discussed this before. We have spoken of the Fabian conspiracy and how the Fabian society has used gradualism to bring about globalization. For many years conspiracy theorists have called this the New World Order.
Now the New World Order is a reality and with the war on terror breeding nationalism and with America on the brink of Socialism we begin to see nationalist social orders and extremist philosophies creep into the zeitgeist.
If you take a look at social models and history you can always see that extremism and radical nationalism are always used as a tools to motivate people in times of economic crisis, and the greater the hardships on a people the more we see nationalist , socialist and state socialist movements become violent and cancerous. Leaders in history have used Hegelian methods to insure that the people move themselves into accepting philosophies and Ideas that they first thought were deplorable. That is why in the crisis of the September 11th, attacks we accepted any idea or scheme the government presented. The idea of collectivism brought about the ill conceived idea of safety in members. It meant an open dialogue of the new agenda. This new agenda was not for the safety of the people. It was problem-reaction-solution and we accepted the solution without questioning motive.
H.G. wells was the author of a book called The Open Conspiracy. This Book was an expose on what the elite were planning for the future and how a “Fabian” socialism would gradually take over the world. Creating a New World Order that would replace world religion and world government. He stated that it all would be replaced by collectivism. He stated that collectivism would kill religion by replacing it as the new religion and philosophy.
Wasn’t Obama criticizing Christianity at the recent prayer breakfast accompanied by the Dali Lama? Now he wants to teach Christians and Muslims how to get along and how to introduce collectivism into the school system in order to eliminate any and all propaganda that may radicalize disillusioned youth to take up arms and join a cult like ISIS?
Obama makes it sound as if ISIS propaganda programs are far sexier than ours and so it is time to make the United States look sexy and to ratchet up the violence and the in and out so that kids have some sort of vision of how cool it is to be American and not joining forces against the governments that have its blessing.
Collectivism is a term used to describe any moral, political, or social outlook, which stresses human interdependence and the importance of a collective, rather than the importance of separate individualism. In other words defining one’s self or one’s work by a group or collective rather than by one’s own individuality.
As humans, we have tendencies towards defining ourselves in collective groups. Mostly by our religious and political views. There are some who define themselves by their country of origin. There are some who predict that the future will bring us to a time where the entire world will function with a “hive” mentality.
Collectivism has found varying degrees of expression in such movements as socialism communism and fascism. The least collectivist of these is social democracy which gradually reduces the imbalances of unrestrained capitalism by government regulation, redistribution of income (Sharing the wealth) and varying degrees of planning and public ownership. In socialist systems collectivist economics are carried to their furthest extreme, with a minimum of private ownership and a maximum of planned economy. Does any of this sound familiar?
It is interesting that the programmed baby boomer finds himself in the same environment as he found in his adolescence. A culture influenced by drugs, and the prospect of a socialized movement?
He is being plagued with social issues like abortion, population reduction and environmental sustainability. He is also living in times where cold war once again begins its chill. He is also in the middle of a war where he is fighting against ideologies that he doesn’t really understand. Computers, and technologies in outer space are overwhelming, so he retreats to his home to escape in a vague haze of hyper-reality. Wouldn’t this be evidence of programming?
Our government is now watching the rat do what he is programmed to do.
