Why Does This Prehistoric Skull Have a Bullet Hole?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

This is so strange. While Melba Ketchum like to point out this skull as more evidence of more hybridization, what’s shocking are the bullet holes in this! According to the website, Ancient Origins, this skull was discovered over a hundred years ago by a Swiss miner:

was searching for metal ore deposits in the limestone caves of Kabwe, Zambia, when he found an ancient skull that dated back to between 125,000 and 300,000 years. It was the first fossil to be discovered in Africa with Homo sapiens characteristics. But there was an even bigger surprise – the skull had a small, circular shaped hole on the side, which forensic scientists say could only have been created by an extremely high-velocity projectile, such as that caused by a bullet.  The mystery was compounded by the discovery of an ancient auroch skull with exactly the same feature. The discoveries have led to many wild and wonderful speculations, but we are really no closer to solving the puzzle.

Original bullets were lead shot thrown from slings cast from thumb prints and I would refer the author to the campaign of Hannibal in 219 BC where he brought slinger’s from the Balearic Islands, shot from whom went twice as far as the competition of the day. Slings have been around for over 7000 years.

Yes, even though there are two holes, and most predators have not only really-long canine teeth but tend to bite the head, OR that we have gained AND lost technology, such as bows-and-arrows more than once through history could NEVER be confused with this type of ‘circular hole’.

What a joke. PROVE IT’S A BULLET, or accept that arrows (or fast snapping cat teeth) aren’t ballistic too.
