Date: July 10, 2009 Friday. Time: 1900 Hours. I didn’t realize so many things were going to happen on this Marysville case, but it did.

You are probably saying to yourself, come on Paul, can you get to the story already? How many links are you going to send me to? Okay, hold your horses, here comes the story. Geesh, impatient people. I’m doing my best here.

Channel 13 met up with us and we got this investigation going. Right off we hit on an EVP in the garage area. After two tries, the question was asked..”is there anyone here?” I believe the EVP says…”You stay”. It sounds like a man’s voice and this EVP was captured right in front of the Channel 13 cameras. One thing started after another. New batteries being drained for no apparent reason. Investigators taking pictures of designer orbs, a couple of the orb photos seem to have faces inside their intricate designs within the circle. Yes, I know orbs can be light refractions, dust, skin flakes or lint, but some of these orbs had pattern movement, if they were dust, they should have dropped to the ground a long time ago, but they kept moving in a horizontal line. So perhaps, just perhaps these orbs may be spiritual containment fields. We have a series of 3 photos, showing a black mass getting ready to engulf my investigators, the 2nd picture they are completely engulfed and 3rd picture everything is back to normal. David Mace sees a silhouette of a person next to him, he looks back again and it’s gone. Devon Lemmenes, the occupant wonders if her deceased brother Daniel is one of the entities of her home and she seeks the answer this evening.

I did some interviews with some of my investigators and got some interesting stories and experiences. Here is the run down:

Lisa Noggle: She tells me that her first and only paranormal experience was at an Arkansas hotel. She was taking a tour of the hotel and came to a room that had gutted floors. She saw a little boy’s reflection in the hotel window and as she looked at the little boy, his head tilted to one side and he smiled.

Kathy; She feels an energy in the garage, she picks up the name Daniel and learns later that is Devon’s deceased brother. She feels that the man in the house next to Devon’s home died of emphysema and she learns she is correct. She feels chills and heaviness throughout the house.

Robert Kyer: Robert was in the Army in Iraq and on June 2003 he was in an Iraqi military unoccupied officer barracks. He felt ghostly soldiers moving and brushing up against him. He hears Arabic speaking all around him and there is absolutely no one in the room with him at the time. He learns later that many Iraqi soldiers died in these barracks from a 155 mm artillery shell.

Renee Martine: She felt a male presence in Devon’s home. She feels a male presence was holding onto a little girl spirit from going into the light. This male presence may have died from opium poisoning in the 1800s. She also felt a Quaker connection with the spirits in the home.

Angel Wolpert: She felt at times disoriented and felt someone was watching her.

June Baker feels a strong presence alongside the house and in the house next door is where the man died of emphysema.

Some History about Devon’s House and her Neighborhood:
Across the street, criminals were hung by their neck in the 1800s until they were dead. A city official man and his wife died in Devon’s home. The Garage Man may have been a vagrant that would stay in the garage, to shelter himself from the weather, when the home was abandoned. The home may be about 80 years old.

Equipment used during this investigation: K2 Readers, EMF Readers, temperature gauges, digital audio recorders, digital video cameras, pendulum, dowsing rods.

Tammy picked up on three EVPs inside the home. Questions asked: “Can we help you?” “Are you here?” “Do you like it here?” A male’s voice all three times answers “yes”.

Cold spot located in the garage via a temperature gauge. Kathy feels her right arm pinched and later raked by fingernails. Robert feels a slight brush against the hairs of his arm. Tammy sees a flash of light around Renee’s legs while they sit in the living room.

We conducted a total of 2 investigative sessions that lasted two hours, with Yana and Donna Jackson falling into the role of lead investigators. We analyzed all collected evidence in front of Devon the occupant and the news crews. We ended the investigation with a séance using Donna Jackson’s spirit box.

Spirit Box/Séance Results:
Spirit Box says my name. It also says Devon’s name as clear as a bell. I asked how it died. It says ‘heart attack’. At some point we did an experimentation and asked if Michael Jackson was in the home and Michael Jackson’s music came on. I asked to hear Michael Jackson’s voice and his voice came on. The Spirit Box indicated many songs and words of love to Devon, so it appears that if there is a male presence in this home, it loves Devon. There was also Spanish dialect spoken as answers to our questions. This is another classic ‘Casper Haunting’. The occupant has nothing to fear from the entity, because the entity is benevolent.

During our investigative sessions we went to Tammy Straling’s home. We had a HPI potluck that consisted of lasagna, fried chicken, apple pie, French bread, cakes, pasta salads, sodas. It was nice to take a break from the investigation and eat and socialize with my HPI family.

When I was headed for Marysville one of my HPI car magnet signs flew off on I-5 and Laguna Blvd, so if any of you truckers find it alongside the freeway, give me a ring okay? Damn signs, they don’t have the magnetic capabilities like they used to!

When Tammy Straling returned back to her home after the investigation she found her deceased brother’s renaissance faire swords moved into the middle of the living room. A few days ago, she had found a heart picture frame moved and the glass to this frame was shattered. When Tammy saw her deceased brother Frederick’s swords moved, Kathy took a picture and there was a bright shiny orb in the photo. Kathy’s batteries to her camera instantly died after that. Renee Martine walks into Tammy’s bedroom and actually sees Frederick sitting on the corner of Tammy’s bed. If you ask me if we will be investigating Tammy’s home soon, the answer of course is ‘yes’.

FINDINGS:
Various EVPs that were captured and will be analyzed further. Shadow and orb anomalies in photographs. Spirit box with concise answers to questions asked, perhaps a coincidence, I am not sure. Results: Pending.

CONCLUSION:
All indications are that this home has unusual activity. Is it paranormal? Further analysis is warranted.

Governor revokes parole of convicted child killer
Monday, August 18, 2008
By Staff ReportAfter being imprisoned for 26 years, convicted child killer Gina Sargent had her parole date reversed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger last week.

In November 1980, Sargent, then 22, pushed her 5-year-old stepdaughter Ilana down a flight of stairs in Pioneer, causing injuries that ultimately killed her. Initially, Sargent claimed Ilana had fallen, but after investigations and an autopsy, it was discovered that Ilana had been a victim of sustained child abuse. Sargent was arrested in 1981 and convicted of second degree murder and endangering the life of a child. Her sentence was 15 years to life.

According to the Indeterminate Sentence Parole Release Review, Sargent acquired her GED and took college courses while in prison, along with vocational training courses. She has also retained close ties with family and friends and made arrangements to live at a transitional facility in Los Angeles. Despite the positive factors, Schwarzenegger said in the ISPRR his decision was swayed by Sargent’s crime being “especially atrocious.” He said her “release from prison would pose an unreasonable risk of danger to society at this time.” One factor was a statement from the emergency room physician who treated Ilana and said he believed she could have been saved had Sargent contacted authorities immediately instead of waiting more than three hours after the fall. Sargent now admits to abusing Ilana daily over a six-month period that the child lived with her, even though members of the family attempted to intervene. A state parole board recommended release in 2007, which the Amador County District Attorney’s Office protested. In his letter, Schwarzenegger said that was another factor that went into his decision.

“At age 50 now, after being incarcerated for approximately 26 years, Gina Sargent made some credible gains in prison,” Schwarzenegger’s letter said. “But given the current record before me, and after carefully considering the same factors the board must consider, I find the gravity of the murder committed, along with previous record of violence by Sargent, presently outweigh the positive factors.”

OLEN B. KITCHENS’ UFO SIGHTING:
Good Afternoon, I spoke with Debbie on Saturday, July 4th, 2009 regarding an unusual event which I observed the previous Wednesday.

At or about 2010, while observing thunderheads east-northeast of highway 95 from my home in downtown Fallon, Nevada. (The weather was mostly cloudy with high winds from the west as a series of thunder cells were moving through the area) I observed what appeared to be a black circle viewed face on, approximately 2 meters in diameter, silhouetted against the horizon at approximately 3 degrees and ten to fifteen miles distant as judged by surrounding terran. The object had no observable features, but had an unusual quality of darkness which seemed to “avoid light”. As I continued to observe, the object made slow progress toward the southwest appearing to move against prevailing winds. As the object approach my viewing area, I noted that the object appeared to be growing in size but demonstrated no
change in aspect, it remained a circle viewed face on but it appeared to change color becoming a dark red but not displaying any luminosity. The object was observed to approach the bottom of a thunder cell and then disappeared. It did not appear to go into the clouds but rather simply was no longer visible. The event lasted approximately 6-8 minutes.

While I am unsure what the object was, I remain sure that the object was not would be normally found in the sky surrounding Fallon, even when considering the nearness of the Naval Air Station. I have historical experience with both civilian and military aircraft, having served as an Inflight Medical Specialist with the search and rescue organization based at the Naval Air Station here in Fallon and this object seemed to resist convention as I understand it. You may feel free to use this report as you deem reasonable and I will provide credentials if you require them.

I hope that you may find this information helpful and am hopeful that you may provide some insight as to the nature of this event. It has caused me some consternation and remain perplexed as to what was observed.

ATSION LAKE, NEW JERSEY GHOSTLY SIGHTINGS:
July 7, 2009, Tuesday: Paranormal hotline calls. The caller is Josh. He is calling me from Atsion Campground near Atsion Lake in New Jersey. Josh and his friends are camping out in the woods as they are talking with me on the cell phone. They are surrounded by a multitude of ghostly people that are peeking at them from the woods. They ask for my help and I walk them through the hedge-of-protection prayers. The activity subsides. Before they called me, one camper witnessed a woman without a head. Another camper saw an eerie glowing red light in the woods. No one saw the Jersey Devil this night. This morning, I receive a call of thanks. Hi Paul,

I’m sure you recall the picture of Tammy’s brother on the table. When we returned there to drop Tammy off she called me in, frantic at the swords not being where
they were when we left, I took a few pictures from the living room, a distant shot as to catch anything that may have been there, I saw nothing in those
pictures and turned my camera OFF. When my little Canon point & shoot is off the lens detracts so it’s flat. I was putting it in my purse when I noticed
a light on it.. I looked and the LCD was lit up with a close up of her brother’s picture. As I stated, I took a ‘distant’ picture – you have to do a few different
things to zoom in then arrow to center your object. He was dead center and filled the LCD readout. I showed Tom, walked out to the kitchen to show
Tammy, the LCD went out as I extended it to her. The camera was still if the off position several people checked it.

I feel Fred (Tammy’s brother) was not happy we left! Why, I’m not sure.
