Back Words: Speaking In Tongues

One of the toughest sells in the paranormal is the idea that we perceive all things and hear all things in forward and reverse. When I was younger I remember that I was always told that language is a set of recognizable sounds that can either be tones, chirps, barks, or even all three that can be used to name objects and command actions. Sounds, frequencies and tones it is theorized, created the earth and all of the objects that we see.

Frequencies and tones were neither forward or reversed however it was when we learned to use what are known as phonemes we were able to communicate. In the beginning we used different levels of our brain, and as we evolved the brain was quite capable of processing more information.

In ancient times, mankind was believed to be bicameral where we were consciously aware of what our brain was telling us both backwards and forwards. Even our eye sight would reach the brain inverted and the brain would take the image we see and flip it in order for it to be right side up.

To this day the process of seeing an image remains the same. The image is seen through the lens of your eye and is projected in reverse in the brain. The brain corrects the image so that we can see things the correct side up.

In one psychological study, participants were asked to wear contact lenses that would make images appear upside down- At first, everything appeared upside-down to the participants. But, after a few days, people began to report that everything appeared right-side-up. As a second part of the study, the people were asked to take the lenses out. Because their brains became accustomed to changing the inverted image, their normal vision appeared upside-down. Within a day, though, their vision returned to normal.

So let us suppose that the same experiment would be conducted where instead of speech being heard in the forward it was in the reverse. If participants listened to long periods of reverse gibberish wouldn’t it be logical to understand that the brain would eventually try and find speech phonemes in reverse that sound like normal forward speech?

Now what if that experiment included interpretation of reversed speech as another way we receive communication? Could the brain be able to conduct all kinds of communication spoken, unspoken, phonetically sound and phonetically reversed?

We now know that language isn’t all about speaking in tongues.

It is becoming more and more apparent in the age of intelligence data and data mining that data in all of its forms are not just being used to determine the movements of terrorists, but it is a vital tool to understand predetermined outcomes because of key word searches being discovered in the cloud.

Words fall from our mouths every day, and if they cannot be held in a super NSA facility in Utah, or filed in some dossier then where do they go?

There are studies that show that the mind has the ability to store words and information and in the subconscious and beyond they remain and usually show up in dream time or in times when thoughts are turned inward.

We have recall that is uncanny and whether we know it or not every bit of media, words spoken, sung or presented in a television show or movie is always available in our subconscious recall. We can see how unspoken words or body language affects others in the groupthink studies and how certain forms of speech can affect the individual. If provocative speech motivates a crowd, then we can see s silent form of body language and even reverse language speaking in tongues creating an “Elliot’s Wave” that is similarly seen in the financial markets.

The Elliott Wave Principle is a detailed description of how groups of people behave. It reveals that mass psychology swings from pessimism to optimism and back in a natural sequence, creating specific and measurable patterns.

Those who have focused their attention on waves of pessimism and optimism on the internet can actually predict possible upheavals, and or quite times using the wave principle that illustrates a form of non verbal language.

One of the easiest places to see the Elliott Wave Principle at work is in the financial markets, where changing investor psychology is recorded in the form of price movements. If you can identify repeating patterns in prices, and figure out where we are in those repeating patterns today, you can predict where we are going.

This has also been called “investor psychology,” and how a group of people demonstrate faith or lack of faith using numbers and patterns. It takes a professional to estimate the trend correctly. It is more or lea an oracle that is in essence a form of cloud watching.

It is seeing patterns in chaotic forms and in non-worded speech. In this case the numbers speak and not in words that we can hear audibly.

It is all part of the talent of approximating and interpreting a form of crowd speak.

By knowing and observing the wave patterns and movements, a different form of speech all together you can know what the trends will likely show and most important what they won’t. It is like reading a language that is all based on subconscious overtures provided by a single sample of the market or area.

It can be said that this is a true form of collective unconscious tapping. Giving a nod to Carl Jung a secret language of dream time is used to see a pattern that sound like precognitive viewing or remote viewing. It can be said that the human mind may sense what other minds may feel and that a whole group of people are able to dense when disasters are coming, or when death is imminent.

These are unspoken cues that we use in order to survive. However a scientist would not be able to quantify or save any of this data to prove that it is an unspoken language. It is just a phenomenon that appears to work.

I know that this type of theorizing may sound outrageously fictitious; however, it really isn’t and it is becoming more of a sport to determine the inner most thought processes of the human soul and why we do what we do.

If the ideas of tapping into the unconscious sounds like a fantasy, you may want to ask why the military invests in such practices. It is also important to investigate why business firms hire “psychics” or “trend analysts” to try and out guess what the market place is up to.

The new market wizards will say that they are able to approximate the trends of the populace by using “dreams and intuition” and locating within the consciousness of the digital oracle past tends, present trends, and where the future will take us.

These wizards say that crowd psychology yields clusters of thoughts that wind up in blogs and on web news sites. The people’s press and social networks are revealing the overall attitudes of the world. It is not exactly what is said, but how it is said and what may not be said that can be an indicator of a cycle of behaviors.

While it is a weird and vague “science” that is said to be accurate, it puzzles me that for some time there has been another weird and vague science that exists, or as the critics call it “pseudo science” and that is what has been called “Reverse Speech” by analyst and founder of the anomaly David John Oates.

In the past several decades, David Oates has been advocating his discovery of a most interesting phenomenon. Oates claims that backward messages are hidden unintentionally in all human speech. The messages can be understood by recording normal speech and playing it in reverse. This phenomenon, Reverse Speech, has been discussed by Oates in a number of books, magazines, newspapers, and radio programs, and even on television with Larry King and Geraldo Rivera.

His company, Reverse Speech Enterprises, is dedicated to continuous analysis of speech both forward and reverse and is now growing to the point that it is now used in speech therapy and in some psycho therapy in order to study the unconscious mind.

Reverse Speech is alleged to offer enormous benefits both in therapeutic and everyday situations. It can enable people to understand our behavioral motivations.

Reverse Speech has demonstrated a powerful and effective method to change and resolve our undesirable belief systems and neutralize destructive behavioral patterns.

With Reverse Speech there is the possibility of reconnecting with our inner-most self; to return to our true essence and restoring our cognitive resonance.

I have said that cognitive resonance is an important part of our way of life and anytime our cognitive liberty is threatened we must somehow find the necessary means to learn what may be uncomfortable at first. It always takes a great deal of discipline to heal what has been damaged and to learn that life is not a death sentence but a educational experience for the soul that uses the flesh as a tool for pleasure, pain and love in what can be a self organizing perfect system.

It is now difficult to determine coincidence, determinism, cognitive association and synchronicity.

Oates claims that Reverse Speech is actually a window to the soul and that what is formed in reversed gibberish can be seen a message from the unconscious mind and that it can indicate what is triggering the conscious to do what it does. The unconscious therefore can be tapped into using reverse resonant speech patterns.

Whatever words show up in pattern or in certain sequences are the words and metaphors that direct us without us even knowing.

We may see it as déjà vu or coincidence or synchronicity. But in the world of Reverse Speech there are various levels of the mind that is controlled both forwards and in reverse.

Most things we are now seeing are not coincidence they are well planned out and have markers that point to mystic vibrations and symbols that tap into the Jungian collective unconscious. Some things that are revealed are not always meant to trigger thoughts in your conscious mind but you unconscious mind as well. There are images and symbols that melt into you and as you take for granted their appearance they communicate to you on a visceral level.

There are events in our lives that can be an effect from some cause. When causes between meaningful events happen we call it synchronicity, a part of time where we see the evidence of determination or random accident. It is hard to tell which because synchronicity or meaningful coincidence is such a complex mental construction, subject to conscious and subconscious influence, not every correlation in the grouping of events by meaning needs to have an explanation in terms of cause and effect.

We now have predictive programming and arguably it can be said that much of our causal engineering today is producing a kind of reverse causality where the future, as nebulous as it appears is quite literally being created in the present.

Time is pushed forward and backwards, history is molded and shaped to fit into an agenda and so tools like Reverse Speech could easily demonstrate how we come to our schisms and inner conflicts over what is generally consensus reality. I am sure that in the exploration of the data we would be told something that cannot be expressed in words alone.

Reverse Speech is also a misnomer because most skeptical investigators of the phenomena stop short of saying that it is impossible to speak in reverse, so therefore it is a worthless endeavor to try and make a science of it.

It is not the exercise of speaking in reverse it is the process of analyzing gibberish and see if the brain can detect a pattern that is recognizable and pertinent to the speech that is being spoken forward.

Oates has demonstrated that it is pertinent and it is also perhaps a key into what we are thinking deep in the unconscious mind, the area of the mind where dreams and core thoughts reside.

Reverse Speech or the hearing of gibberish on the surface is impractical and has little or no value.

The value is what you find when you dig into metaphor, conduct a meta walk and uncover data that may be dangerous to your physical and mental health. The more you dig into the mystery the less of it becomes pseudo science and more of it becomes an open book to the soul.

The idea of Reverse Speech being an invalid science is a bit premature when a lot of skeptics do not take the time to experiment with it or if the go into a testing of it with prejudice or preconceived notions of what to expect.

When they are so concerned with prompting the listener, they should be concerned with their own fears and their own prejudice because it is certain that Reverse Speech from here on out will always be the subject that prompts speculation and anxiety.

And like it or not, that gives it power.
