On April 28, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on whether states have the right to determine their own definition of marriage, or whether the Constitution requires all 50 states to make same-sex ‘marriage’ legal. Two members of the U.S. Supreme Court, both viewed as potential swing votes on the right of same-sex couples to marry, raised doubts about California’s same-sex marriage ban on Tuesday as they questioned a lawyer defending the ban.

First off.  interesting how April 28th is the day the Supremes are going to hear arguments for gay marriage!

There are nine supreme court justices on the highest court in the land.  These nine people weighed in on Roe v Wade—the landmark abortion case—and abortion became the law of the land.  Since that fateful decision in 1973, millions of babies have been killed in their mother’s wombs.  The total world-wide is now well over 1 billion!  In my opinion, blood is on the hands of this justices on the Supreme Court, who made that decision.

Now, a different group of men and women will decide about gay marriage—the current nine justices.  In other words, nine people will tell the rest of us, what will be legal.  Shocking isn’t it?

It’s time for the church to stand up and cry out loud and clear that marriage is between one man and one woman, period.  This may be the last stand for the church.  We caved on the abortion issue.  When Superbowl Sunday happens we gather in homes and watch the half-time occult spectacles and the following Sunday not a word is said about it from most pulpits.

The church hides behind its 501-C3 status and thus is a paper tiger.

When the movie The Last Temptation of Christ came out decades ago, the church rallied and protested.  That was decades ago….

If the Supremes vote in favor of Gay marriage I believe it will be another sign that America is doomed.  We have lost our moral compass, our ability to discern between what is right and what is wrong.

While the Middle East is imploding, and WWIII is at our doorstep, our media focuses on Bruce Jenner—we need to pray for him.

Will the pastors stand up in their pulpits this coming Sunday and warn the folks of what is transpiring in the highest court in the land, or will they deliver another feel-good-Jesus-loves- you-sermon?

In closing todays post.  Gay marriage is an open challenge to what I believe the majority of Americans view as immoral.  Nine people will decide what we are to accept as law.  Nine people who have been put in a position of authority will tell us what we should believe and embrace.  Nine people.  If they decide to make Gay marriage legal, it is a direct affront to what Christians believe.  Even though there are segments of the Christian church who embrace gay marriage, the mainstream evangelical community is against it, period.  Time for the church to take a stand or become completely irrelevant and lukewarm.

One last word.  We are to reach out in love to those who are gay, not condemn them or disparage them.  We are to pray for them and love on them, while not accepting their lifestyle.  The Gospel—the good news of Yeshua—can transform lives.  I’ve witnessed this and know of gays who after meeting Yeshua, abandoned their lifestyle.  Check out the mission statement of Desert Stream Ministry.  (See below)
