Giant Human Shaped Smoke Cloud Appeared During Calbuco Volcano Eruption Was It A Sign

Have you ever seen smoke take on this shape?

On April 24, when the Chilean volcano Calbuco erupted for the second time, it spewed an enormous amount of superheated smoke and ash that formed into the ghostly shape of a man, baffling people far and wide.

Many of the scared residents in the nearby town of Puerto Montt took the strange apparition as a harbinger of things to come.

The photo above was snapped by a local woman named Hariet Grunewald, who was in her home when the second eruption occurred. When she showed the photo to her friends, Hariet got the confirmation that it wasn’t just her who saw the eerie resemblance to the figure of a man.

At first I thought perhaps it was just me who could see him. But then I showed my friends and family and they all agreed,” she said.

Like Puerto Montt resident Juanma Ortiz Arredondo, many people are convinced the apparition was a sign from above:

An erupting volcano is God’s way of showing he is unhappy,” Arredondo believes. ” This smoke man is probably a message. That he is keeping a watch on us and our behavior.”

 

Others attribute the giant humanoid as the work of aliens. During the first eruption, a set of strange lights were seen hovering near the plume of ash that emanated from the volcano, leading some UFO hunters to believe aliens might have something to do with the smoke giant as well.

The Calbuco volcano erupted for a third time on Thursday, April 30. This time, the smoke did not take on any peculiar shape.

What possible explanation could shed some light on this enigmatic figure?
