Israel hawks to Pope Francis: Stay out of politics

“I’m surprised that the pope would recognize Palestine when they’re still haters who want to eliminate Israel off the map and don’t recognize Israel,” said Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), a member of the Israel Allies Caucus. “The Pope is the head of his religion, and he makes those calls for himself, but I represent 700,000 people from East Texas and a vast majority agree with me.”

First off, why  would the Pope choose to do this now?  Why the urgency of it.  As many of you know Israel is literally surrounded by those who pose a direct existential threat to her.  Israel also did the land-for-peace “dance” when it gave back the Gaza strip and ever since has had no thing but rocket and mortar fire streaming across her borders as a thank you. HAMAS fired over 4000 rockets into Israel in the war last year.  How would you like to live in a country where normalcy were air raid sirens going off and filling the skies overhead were the milky exhaust plumes of Iron Dome Intercepting rockets?

So the Pope has thrown his hat in the ring on the side of the Palestinians, and thus how many Catholic’s will follow his lead.  Never mind that Hezbollah in the north has over 100,000 rockets that can be fired into Israel.  http://www.timesofisrael.com/hezbollah-hiding-100000-missiles-that-can-hit-north-army-says/

We are in a window of time where the entire world has turned it’s back on the Jewish people, as Antisemitism is on the rise, and the anti-Israel rhetoric is now an ongoing international din.

Our POTUS seeks to work with Iran, who gather in Tehran square and fanatically shout, Death to America!  Death to Israel.  Really?

In closing todays post.  I’m deeply saddened by the Popes statement, however the Pope is a Jesuit and the Jesuits created the Inquisition.  http://www.mtc.org/inquis.html  Of course there’s no connection there… right?

In my opinion, the Pope is on the wrong side of history with his stance.  I wonder if he knows about the prophecies concerning Israel in the last days?  If by chance he reads this blog which I’m sure he most likely won’t, here’s a list of them.
