Question: Butch, before we get into this interview, how about telling the readers something personal about yourself. Your family life, your favorite movies, your favorite books, your schooling, your favorite TV shows. Recreational activities and hobbies?

Answer: I’m single never been married. Twice engaged. My favorite movies are: 2001, Wizard of Oz Monty Python & The Holy Grail. My favorite books: Think and Grow Rich. Richest Man in Babylon. My schooling: Public schools and studio tutors. My hobbies and recreational activities are: traveling, cars, bikes and boating.

Question: Would you consider your days filming with the Munsters the highlight of your life?

Answer: No, actually when I WASN’T filming was more fun. I had the biggest studio and backlot at my disposal. I had the backlot as my playground. So that was more fun.

Question: Is there any chance that the Munsters will return to TV with new actors and actresses playing the Munsters?

Answer: No plans on a return in my opinion. Brian Singer and Bryan Fuller tried with Mockingbird Lane in 2013.

Question: How come they never did a crossover with The Munsters and The Addam’s Family, that would have been the crossover of the century?

Answer: As far as a crossover, I doubt the powers that be could ever get it together to do it.

Question: What are some of your most memorable times playing Eddie Munster?

Answer: Going out on location shoots. Lions Drag Strip, Marineland, Hollywood Bowl, etc.

Question: What have you been doing lately in the entertainment field?

Answer: Touring the country with my Munster Koach and Dragula. I am also partners with the new ROKU channel Scare it Forward. It’s a 5013c charity for the humanities.

Question: My wife Deanna is a big fan of the Munsters and has a few questions for you. What is your spiritual beliefs? What is your astrology sign? Have you had any paranormal experiences?

Answer: I’m a Leo – Aug 2 1953 – I am spiritual, believing in a higher power. Yes, I had a paranormal experience or two.

Question: Let’s do some fun questions. If you were on a deserted island, what 3 things would you bring with you?

Answer: Food, water and a flare gun

Question: If you had 6 dinner guests, 3 historical and 3 fictional, who would they be?

Answer: Einstein, John Lennon, Elvis, James Bond, Batman, Superman.

PARANORMAL JOURNAL UPDATE:
8/29/2015: Lunch at Panera Bread in Vacaville and off to haunted Mare Island in Vallejo. Met up with Carolann Castro and some of the Soul Seekers crew. Deanna Jaxine Stinson had an amazing encounter, at a warehouse, she saw a man in black pants and black sweater come out of the warehouse and then he looked at Deanna and walked back into the warehouse. When we went over to the warehouse, there was no man there. Deanna snaps a picture and captures a large designer orb with an eye inside of it. Deanna is a sensitive and sometimes entities are attracted to her, she is like a lighthouse beacon and the entities are the moths.

Deanna also saw a ghostly deer in the cemetery. The night before Mare Island, Deanna was visited by an orb that had black tentacles, that moved back and forth and finally zipping away. When Deanna saw this, she yelled from her nightmare: “did you see this?” This question was projected to me. Then a man in all white, as if he had a suit made of glowing moon dust teleported into the room and when she drew this man in white, he sort of looked like a grey alien, large neck, black eyes. His feet touched the bottom of the floor and his head touched the ceiling, he was tall. Deanna brushes this off as nightmares, but I wonder if it’s something more?

One of the Soulseeker guys jumped in the car with Deanna and I and we followed a guy on his bike, he was our ‘paranormal guide’. He lead us to the Mare Island Museum where other investigators were waiting. Deanna and I lead some of the group to the Mare Island cemetery. When Deanna and I left, we were very hungry. A stop at Taco Bell and finally home.
