The Rain Of Terror

I think most of us by now have heard the little nursery fable about Chicken Little. Chicken Little went around telling everyone that “The Sky Is Falling” and caused mass hysteria among all of the other animals. The animals all went to the king and asked if he would protect them and the king realized that Chicken Little had a little acorn fall on his head and that he was overreacting.

The moral to the story is…The sky is not falling, don’t be a Chicken Little and don’t be afraid. Now in Chicken Little’s case, the sky really wasn’t falling; he only caused mass hysteria by claiming that it was.

However we must give Chicken Little credit because the Earth is pockmarked with the evidence of ancient collisions — huge craters blasted into its surface by asteroids or comets falling from the sky. One such object, striking 65 million years ago in the Yucatán in Mexico, is believed by some experts to be linked to the demise of the dinosaurs.

At the moment the internet is buzzing about another “Chicken Little” who didn’t have anything fall onto his head rather he is telling people what came out of his head in the form of a vision.

The Facebook site called “A Call and Warning from the Lord –Asteroid Prophecy is operated by a man named Reverend Efrain Rodriguez claims to have written to NASA in 2010 warning of an impending asteroid that will hit earth in September of this year.

His prophetic visions of doom have created a panic on the internet, and I have received a lot of e-mails with regard to the prophecy and why I haven’t mentioned it.

Rev. Rodriguez says he learned of the impending disaster via a message from God, stating the asteroid would hit the ocean near Puerto Rico and causes a massive earthquake and tsunami which will devastate the east coast of the US, Mexico, Central and South America.

Rev. Rodriguez also claims NASA had confirmed the trajectory of the asteroid and that President Barack Obama had been briefed – though the only preparations have been made to enable the “rich and powerful” to protect themselves.

Other similarly unverifiable sources cite a meeting between French foreign minister Laurent Fabius and US Secretary of State John Kerry in May 2014 as being further evidence the Rapture is approaching.

John Kerry did meet French foreign minister Laurent Fabius at the State Department in Washington last year warning about how we have 500 days to avoid climate chaos and many people assumed that there was more discussed at the meeting about the asteroid impact.

Fabius was quoted as stating: “As I said, we have 500 days to avoid climate chaos. And I know that President Obama and John Kerry himself are committed on this subject and I’m sure that with them, with a lot of other friends, we shall we able to reach success on this very important matter.”

This was then interpreted to mean 500 days till doomsday impact which was calculated to be September 24. 2015. Other theorists give an impact window of September 22-28.

Now keep in mind this all about the prophecies of a self-proclaimed prophet.

NASA was forced to respond to all the internet traffic about earth’s upcoming “extinction.” The American space agency gave a statement.

“NASA knows of no asteroid or comet currently on a collision course with Earth, so the probability of a major collision is quite small. In fact, as best as we can tell, no large object is likely to strike the Earth any time in the next several hundred years.”

Well that statement only works if it were true.

While NASA tells us that no significant impacts are do anytime soon, what they fail to report is that even though they want to defuse any panic from Reverend Chicken Little, NASA has a hard time trying to track every space rock that may cause significant damage on Earth.

While no one wants to shout “doomsday” and create a panic – it might be interesting to remember that Scientists gave us a warning about what might be lurking out in space after a 20 meter wide meteor exploded over Chelyabinsk on February 14th, 2013.

NASA explained that there are many Apollo class asteroids lurking in places where they cannot always see and that many times they have to rely on amateur astronomers to get the word out. By then it may be too late.

There are also the close calls that go unreported as well.

It is times like these where we may feel a bit of space wind as large masses pass overhead quietly and without fair warning from NASA on the mainstream news. You just have to find out from Twitter if we are about to be brushed with an asteroid the size of a cross-town bus or one that is the spitting image of that rock in Gibraltar.

These are earth crossing asteroids that are just a little shy of becoming ‘potentially hazardous asteroids‘. While Potentially Hazardous Asteroids can be classified as such without even hitting the earth, the potential of doing so is far greater and the Asteroid cannot come any closer, if it does then we have a major problem.

Potentially Hazardous Asteroids are currently defined based on parameters that are based on the asteroid’s potential to make an absolute threatening close approach to the Earth. To be specific this means all asteroids with an Earth Minimum Orbit Intersection Distance of 4,650,000 miles.

That is considered a close cosmic shave. Then there are the so called sweeper rocks that wind up being pushed into earth’s trajectory by even bigger comets of meteors that don’t even come close to earth.

NASA claimed that Chelyabinsk incident had nothing to do with the asteroid they were tracking that came close to planet earth the same day.

However more than two years after the devastating event at Chelyabinsk, new data reported by NASA revealed that over a four billion year time frame, the meteor’s orbital parent body itself had likely been geologically-impacted as many as a dozen times.

Meaning it was a baby chip off the old block from a parent asteroid hat had been colliding with other space rocks creating a “snooker table” or sweeper effect.

Two 15- to 20-gram samples of the Chelyabinsk meteorite that NASA obtained from Russia over a year ago reveal a broad range of information about the meteor’s mineralogy, bulk composition and age, as noted at the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in Houston.

These same fragments came off the path of the fireball somewhere around the middle of its trajectory through Earth’s atmosphere.

This indicates that the idea of knowing with a certainty that Earth will or will not be hit by some rouge space rock is really a crap shoot. This also means that we don’t know how lucky we really are. We know that the cosmic neighborhood is chaotic and that we dodge some pretty big space bullets every day—but every once in a while there are reports that really remind us of how we come close to being hit and how lucky we really are.

A slow moving and very bright fireball was observed and recorded over Argentina around midnight UTC on July 31, 2015 (21:00 local time on July 30).

Observers say the spectacle lasted about 10 seconds, turning the whole sky green. No sound was associated with the event.

According to media reports, the bright object could be clearly seen from Argentina’s capital of Buenos Aires, Brazil’s southern state of Rio Grande do Sul, as well as neighboring Uruguay.

Luckily the fireball caused no damage.

The day before an estimated 10-15 meter wide fireball hit Northern Iran.

According to Mohammad Ali Ahani, director of Qazvin Crisis Management Staff, the meteor landed in Avaj, province of Qazvin. There are reports that some pieces of the rock have hit areas in Eshtahard, Alborz Province.

Many Iranian news agencies speak of serious damage to Qazvin, which is located not too far from the state capital, Tehran. Injured victims have not been confirmed, however estimated death tolls are circulating on the internet.

Reports of damage come from multiple locations.

Iranian newspapers say the meteor had to have been very large because there are numerous towns affected by the impact, with shattered windows and damaged fixtures.

The mainstream news in the United States has failed to pick up on the story, however with the Russian event it took days before American media even mentioned the situation.

News reports now say that fragments of the space rock have been found around a village in Zanjan, and are being investigated by the officials.

Before the impact Iran experienced a number of moderate earthquakes and a massive heat wave. The largest earthquake reported was in Central Iran. A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The heat wave that was reported produced near record temperatures in Iran and Iraq with the countries announcing public holidays to protect people from the heat. In the city of Bandar Mahshahr, Iran, the heat index — measuring the temperature perceived by humans by factoring in humidity — reached 165 degrees Fahrenheit last Friday.

The 165 reading was recorded at 4:30 p.m., local time, by weather experts who said the country was enduring some of the hottest urban temperatures ever endured by humankind. It came a day after the index soared to 159 degrees (70 Celsius) in the same location.

The city is next to the Persian Gulf in the southwestern part of Iran where the water temperature has been in the 90s, the Washington Post reported. These high water temperatures have created sweltering humidity in the region, adding to the already extreme heat on land.

Some American conspiracy sites are suggesting that perhaps Iran is being introduced to the new methods or weather Warfare where ionosphere heating like the HARRP project and that perhaps the impact of a “meteor” is a special space weapon known as the “Rods of God.” This is a rumored space weapons system that was to be employed in the 1980’s using earth penetrator rods made out of tungsten.

The rods, one foot thick and 20 feet long, would be able to hit almost any target on the Earth’s surface, with a minimum time from when the order was given to when the projectile struck of about 15 minutes. The advantages are that these tungsten rods could silently be launched in earth orbit, drop over a target and would be able to go unnoticed by radar until it is too late.

The Pentagon denies the programs exist and that the weapons are even up there. However, the “U.S. Air Force Transformation Flight Plan,” published by the Air Force in November 2003, references “hypervelocity rod bundles” in its outline of future space-based weapons, and in 2002, another report from RAND, “Space Weapons and Earth Wars” dedicated entire sections to the technology’s usefulness.

The fireballs that have been reported recently and the UFO’s that are peppering the skies have been explained away as natural phenomena for many years. The volume of the reports, the size, explosions and the areas where they have come down have raised some suspicion as to whether or not they are part of a cosmic sweeper effect or a weapons test of those so-called “hypervelocity rod bundles”.

Then again they can all be a pretext to the prophecy provided by Reverend Efrain Rodriguez. Back in 2013 a young autistic boy appeared on the nightly news in Puerto Rico, because he too was having visions of fireballs hitting the island and destroying the eastern seaboard.

It is obvious that there are many people who are obsessed with what is happening in the sky. The incoming bombardment will increase as we approach the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. The so called meteor event is also scheduled when the Pope arrives in Washington DC. This adds yet another convenient dot to connect.

The timing of such a vision by a minister, and the fire balls in the news strike a chilling synchronicity. Are these extreme natural phenomena or are we witnessing apocalyptic earth changes that may place us ever closer to extinction?

As with any prophecy—time will tell –and we can be grateful that it is always tomorrow in Australia.
