Who is the Son of Perdition?  

The seed of the serpent will be at enmity with the seed of the woman. Genesis 3

In the Genesis 3 narrative there is a scene which is, in my opinion, extremely poignant.  Father God is in the Garden, along with Adam, Eve and the Serpent.  I wonder who else may have been watching and if there were other angels present at the proceedings.  I believe this verse is pregnant with meaning and it sets up the rest of the Biblical prophetic narrative.  Let me explain.

We are clued in, from the verse above, that there is essentially going to be a seed war between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman.  We know that the seed of the woman eventually produced the Messiah which spelled the end of the Serpent’s kingdom, although he continues to reign on earth at the moment.  (His days are numbered…)

However, it is the seed of the serpent that I draw your attention to this morning as this prophecy, stated so clearly at the fall of man in the garden, which Adam and Eve would soon be expelled from, is still unfulfilled at this moment.  The seed of the serpent will culminate in the anti-messiah, the one who comes instead of Messiah.  He is literally the seed of the serpent, the offspring of the Fallen Cherub, Satan.  He doesn’t go to Anti-Christ school to become the A.C. he is the offspring, the seed, the progeny of the Serpent and thus he is a Nephilim.  I call him a Nephilim because the Nephilim were the offspring of fallen angels and the women of earth.

We read in 2nd Thessalonians about man who is called the son of perdition.  I take this statement literally and thus the son of perdition, is the literal offspring of the Fallen Cherub the anti-messiah, the one who comes instead of Christ.

Is this Nephilim hybrid walking the earth now?  Is he dwelling amongst men and women unnoticed?  Is he already here but yet to take up his position?

Chuck Missler stated The anti-christ may boast of an alien connection. I would agree as the revealing of this son of perdition may coincide with the revealing of the so-called extraterrestrial presence, or what I have come to call, The Coming Great Deception. 

There have been many candidates through the millennia for the son of perdition, world leaders, popes, Hitler, Stalin, Bill Clinton!  The point is he has not yet manifested yet and I would posit that the church will not see him, and I’m thankful that we won’t be here when he does reveal himself.

He will be revealed in the most troubling, tumultuous time in all of history, The Time of Jacobs Trouble, or more commonly known as The Tribulation.  It is a time where the god of this world, Satan, will rule and all hell will break loose, literally.  The Son of Perdition, The Man of Lawlessness will rule and  his reign will be terrible and millions will perish in the wake of his evil.

The good news in all of this is this is the last stand for the Fallen One, at least for a thousand years.  The King, Yeshua/Jesus will ride in with the armies of heaven and by the breath of His mouth—I just love this part—the rule of the Fallen One will be obliterated.  Fantasy? Mythos you say?  I would remind you that our book, the Bible is the only tome on the planet with prophecies that call out the end before the beginning and the beginning before the end.  The King’s return is eminent and He is our hope…
