Puddle In A Microwave

PUDDLE IN A MICROWAVE

As I was heading into work today, I hopped an early commuter train to downtown. I usually take a bus to the transit center and then from there I am about three of four long stops right to my office building. Today, I decided to leave a little early and was not used to having so many people at the station, cramming into a train.

By mid-morning, everyone has already hopped a train for their 9 to 5 job and so a crowded station and a packed train is to be expected at 8:00 AM. I approached the loading area of the train stop and noticed something very peculiar.

Nearly everyone except for the older passengers was wearing ear buds and had their eyes fixated on their iPads and iPhones. Not one person looked up when the train arrived. They just walked towards the door like zombies not even noticing what they were doing, their heads looking down at their phones not even fazed by what was happening around them.

Just a week before one of my producers, was actually stranded while heading into work because a young woman was struck by the train he was on. It was reported that the woman was wearing ear-buds and was paying attention to the screen on her phone as she was crossing the tracks. The train conductor laid on the horn and claimed that the girl didn’t look up until it was too late. The train hit her and she lost her leg, she could have lost her life.

It never ceases to amaze me how younger people continue to ignore one another while they have their noses buried in their smart phones. I wonder if I sound old and cranky when I wonder why this is happening and why those who do this are becoming retarded socially and with their lack of attention putting themselves in harm’s way.

I was reading that they call this “Electronic Social Interaction.”

Ironic isn’t it?

People spend more time with their nose in their smart phone, computer or I-pad then they do talking to one another face to face and yet they call it, “Social Interaction.”

Even though I text and tweet and electronically and socially interact, I absolutely hate the fact that my online personality pegs me as a jerk. I can be sarcastic, direct, playful, joking and I can also communicate well… when I speak. However, if I text or even tweet I am forced to use a smiley face, or winky faced emoticons or emoji’s –which I compare to the electronic equivalent of how we talk all goofy and cutesy when we see a baby or a puppy.

The ability to read the emotions of others is linked to “social intelligence”—texting eliminates this and so if I send a curt tweet or I try to explain anything with sarcasm or humor… nothing is understood unless we add an uncomfortable or needless LOL – or a smiley face just to keep the peace online.

We are awash in technology. It’s estimated that 93% of Americans now use cell phones or wireless devices. And one-third of those people are using so-called smartphones, which means the users can browse the Web and check e-mail on their phones.

According to an industry trade group, from June 2009 to June 2010, cell phone subscribers sent 1.8 trillion text messages. That was up 33% from the year before.

In other words, most of us spend our days walking around with our noses buried in our cell phones, BlackBerrys, iPhones, etc.

And while we’re doing that, we’re tuning out the people who are actually in the same room as us.

Does anybody really think that the way to be friendly or social is to exchange funny links on the internet to each other?

Have you ever noticed that whenever there is a lull in the conversation, or a pause in the day, the default for everyone is to get online and see what their friend ate for breakfast or what goofy cat video is making the rounds online?

When you go into a restaurant do you care about the food or is it more important that they provide free Wi-Fi?

As our use of technology expands and technology itself becomes ever more sophisticated we run the risk of creating an invisible problem that goes far beyond anti-social behaviors.

We all are now running the risk of becoming ill from higher amounts of exposure to EM radiation in the invisible threat of “electro-smog.”

We have talked about this problem many times on my show. We have had guests who claim to be electronically harassed, hearing voices, and becoming acutely ill from something called Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity or EM hyper-sensitivity. the technocrats say that it is psychosomatic, however new reports are saying that there is evidence to show that it is very real and that it is affecting more people than once thought.

If you have experienced a sudden unexplained lack of concentration, muscle tightening, agitation , sleep problems, extreme stress, anxiety, irritability, persistent headaches, ringing in the ears, eye problems, severe memory loss, mental confusion, heart palpitations, nausea, urinary problems, hyperactivity, fatigue, dizziness, and nose bleeds you may be experiencing EM hypersensitivity.

This no longer a tin foil hat topic, it is beginning to get serious and people are not even aware that they are being worn down by being around their high tech devices for too long.

We are also becoming slaves to the smart grid. The smart grid not only creates ill health effects but it also is a way to be watched and spied on by numerous appliances around the home.

The Center for Democracy and Technology, or CDT, recently filed comments with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) over the use of ultrasonic tracking. More and more companies are implanting inaudible sounds into advertisements that humans can’t hear, but other smart devices can. Those sounds effectively help your smart devices network to better track you.

So let’s say you turn on your Smart TV and your dog starts acting up or cocking his head towards the screen. Dogs are hearing the frequency of Big Bother that is being broadcasted out of your range. Ultrasonic frequencies are being put into advertisements and in TV show that the public can’t hear but other electronic devices can.

This sound communicates with your smart phone, tablet, Fitbit activity tracker, computer and Smart watch. The appliances are literally talking about you. This is how Neuro-media and Neuro-marketing operates. We also have talked about this topic as well, where we now learn that sampling and tracking of your choices and thought are being shared with other appliances in order to improve product or cater advertising or even suggest political choices for you.

All your smart devices are actually awake and tracking your habits during commercials, TV shows and internet browsing and you have no idea that it is happening.

One of the companies notorious for this tracking is SilverPush. SilverPush, is based in Gurgaon, near Delhi, and Mountain View, California and uses what they call cross-device retargeting using proprietary technology.

Others like it include Tapad and Drawbridge, both US-based and both founded in 2010.

Data on desktop and mobile usage patterns are matched up to build a profile of the individual user. The profile is then used to serve advertisements to the user based on her or his previous purchases. Data includes gender, age, the products that interest the user, when she or he likes to search or shop, and location. SilverPush has created profiles of around 300 million mobile phones and tablets across the US and India.

Google is also testing the waters with cross-device re-targeting. Google is testing a technology for desktop-to-mobile re-targeting services to brands with more than 100,000 customers registered on their websites (including e-commerce companies). The technology, which could replace cookies, will allow advertisers to serve ads on mobile devices to people who have visited their websites at least once.

More and more frequencies in the “electro-smog” can affect people that can’t opt out of stepping in a puddle of microwaves and brain pickling ultrasonic manipulation.

An international group of researchers published their findings on how the “smog” is growing and how it can make us all sick.

Results can be documented from the clinical study “Metabolic and Genetic Screening of Electromagnetic Hypersensitive Subjects as a Feasible Tool for Diagnostics and Intervention” in the November 2014 issue of Mediators of Inflammation.

According to the detailed study:

Clinical similarities and frequent comorbidity between Electronic Hyper sensitivity and the other medically unexplained multisystem conditions of environmental origin, like multiple chemical sensitivity , fibromyalgia , chronic fatigue syndrome, sick building syndrome, Persian Gulf War veteran syndrome, and amalgam disease.

Further more, Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity, or electrosensitivity (EHS), is a condition affecting more and more individuals who are exposed to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and radiofrequencies (RFs) from radios, televisions, Wi-Fi, “dirty electricity” coming over household wires from utility companies smart meters (SMs), microwaves, photocopiers, plus cell phones and towers. Worldwide, the numbers of people affected by EMFs and RFs has increased exponentially.

The question is whose responsibility is it to warn the people of the dangers of being exposed to, RF, Microwave, and Wi-Fi smog?

Many people agree that the utility companies should warn people of the dangers because some of the most severe exposures can come from electric, natural gas, and water utility companies’ smart meters.

The World Health Organization (WHO), in a December 2005 Background Paper, stated:

“EHS is characterized by a variety of non-specific symptoms that differ from individual to individual. The symptoms are certainly real and can vary widely in their severity. Whatever its cause, EHS can be a disabling problem for the affected individual. [….] For EHS individuals with long lasting symptoms and severe handicaps, therapy should be directed principally at reducing symptoms and functional handicaps. This should be done in close co-operation with a qualified medical specialist (to address the medical and psychological aspects of the symptoms) and a hygienist (to identify and, if necessary, control factors in the environment that are known to have adverse health effects of relevance to the patient).

Treatment should aim to establish an effective physician-patient relationship, help develop strategies for coping with the situation and encourage patients to return to work and lead a normal social life.”

Most Americans have not yet heard of the “smart meters” that are being installed at a rapid pace across our nation by utility companies. Most Americans are totally unaware that someone will soon be showing up at your home, and, without knocking, or asking for your permission, will remove your old analog meter and replace it with a new “smart meter.”

Smart meters use RF (radio frequency) so that it can be remotely controlled and read. No longer will a meter reader have to come to your home to read the meter. It will all be done remotely. When all is in place, the smart meter will not only keep track of how much electricity you are using, but it will be able to control, regulate, and ration your use of that electricity.

If the public utility “big brother” decides that you are using too much heat in the winter time, or too much air conditioning in the summer time, or using too much hot water in your showers or washing machine (even if you are willing to pay for that extra usage), that use of power will be automatically turned down. A future goal is to have all appliances replaced with those containing RF chips for even more regulations and controls.

And it is not just in the United States. It is being mandated in Europe by the European Union. Just about every country in Europe is now also having smart meters installed. By doing more research, one finds out that smart meters are part of “smart growth” or “sustainable development. These sustainable development proposals have been included in “Agenda 21” and the United Nations “2030 Summit.”

There are many times where we hear things that keep us awake at night. A loud cricket chirping, a dripping faucet or a barking dog. Now, there are things that you don’t hear, or even feel that can easily put you on the road to illness with mental and physical agitation along the way.

You can’t opt out – and you can’t wear a tin foil hat to keep the frequencies from microwaving your brain on low power.
