Group Of Teens Have Encounter With 8-9 Foot Tall Creature

This story comes from the Sasquatch Chronicles website. A fan wrote in relaying the story of an encounter they had as a teenager with a group of friends. The creature they witnessed was 8-9 feet tall, and the encounter changed their life forever.
Hi Wes, I’ve been really wanting to touch base with you and tell you my encounter but summing up the courage to do so was a whole new ball game. It wasn’t until I was talking with one of my friends I was with when this encounter took place that I put two and two together. Now I think it’s time to let you know.
I had an encounter with some friends when I was 15. We were walking down a trail around 11pm and there was a three quarter moon so you could see a little bit of everything. One of my friends stopped and asked us if we could see what she was looking at. When we turned we saw some movement behind some bushes. My other friend shouted “hey!” And this thing stood up from the bushes. It was a tall creature that was slightly lit up with the moon. This thing was every bit of 8-9 feet. It had extremely wide shoulders and the perfect body builder shape from what I could make out with the light I had. It turned to its right and took one step to get across this trail which was about the width of a car. We all saw hair detail when it turned to walk off because of the moon but this thing took it’s step then hopped down a 4-5 foot ditch and took off toward a field. As soon as thing turned and stepped we all started running. I turned back to see it landing in the ditch and sprinting off and we all continued running back to our friends house. This is something that I’ve kept quiet because I tried telling my parents at the time and they literally laughed. If they didn’t believe me how could a friend or anyone else. I have multiple witnesses to back up this story and because of this I have had nightmares, and up to the age of 25, was terrified to be outside when it got dark. It literally took seeing is believing to a whole new level.
