Fukushima Update…. Right out of the Days of Chaos

Researchers detect higher levels of radiation from Japan’s 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster off North America’s shores.  

“Despite the fact that the levels of contamination off our shores remain well below government-established safety limits for human health or to marine life, the changing values underscore the need to more closely monitor contamination levels across the Pacific,” said Buesseler.

Chapter 5 – Fukushima Disaster 

Intro:

The Fukushima disaster was a game-changer for the people of Japan.  The 9.0 earthquake which happened on the morning of ________, and the subsequent tsunami which it created, devastated the coast of Japan, in particular the Fukushima prefecture.  The world watched in horror as the tsunami swept inland, destroying houses, farms and taking the lives of over 20,000 people.  Because of the network of tele-communications—satellites that are in geo-synchrisitc orbit around our little blue planet—we watched the event essentially in real-time with perhaps a ten second delay.

The nuclear reactors that were built in Fukushima and operated by TEPCO, were damaged by the earthquake and tsnumai, and in the case of Reactor #4, radioactive material leaked into the Pacific ocean.

There has been an ongoing debate as to how much radiation has leaked from the reactors.  Has this affected the sea life?  Can the people of Fukushima ever return to their homes?  Is it safe to eat the vegetables that are grown in the surrounding farmlands?  How far did the radiation spread?  Are the reactors still leaking in 2015?

In the aftermath, the Japanese government assured us that everything was OK, and there was nothing to worry about, as they had the leaking reactors in control.  Several months later they admitted that they didn’t have everything in their control.  They lost face. To put it bluntly, they lied and did so deliberately.

On the west coast of the USA especially in California there has been a die off of sea life.  There has been speculation that this is direct effect from the radiation leaking into the Pacific.

We hear from pundits who assure us that the water is safe and there’s nothing to worry about.  There are others who disagree and believe the Pacific ocean will never be the same.

I believe you will see that the situation in Fukushima remains dire and that after ____ years, TEPCO and the Japanese are no closer to putting a lid on the leaking radioactive material which is leaking in to the Pacific ocean.

Over the past years, militants have been carrying out anti-government activities across Egypt, taking advantage of the turmoil caused in the country after the first democratically-elected president, Mohamed Morsi, was ousted from power by the military in July 2013.

Interesting how we are told this kind of violence only happens in America.  This nut-job threw molotov cocktails into a crowded restaurant.  Should the Egyptian law makers create laws that prohibit the selling of milk bottles, or coke bottles, or perhaps screen those folks who want to buy gas?  This act as well as the recent heinous terrorist attack in San Bernardino reflect the depravity of man.  We can not legislate morality or uprightness, or love, or forgiveness, or tolerance.  Obama is calling for more gun control, but how will making it harder for people to get guns stop the carnage?  It won’t and just like in Egypt, if someone decides to kill, they will find the means to do so.

I’ve covered this before but I’ll bring it up again now.  The Levant includes ALL of Israel and the goal of ISIL, The Moslem Brotherhood, The Iranians, and Saudi’s is to set up their brand of an Islamic Caliphate in the region.  I find it interesting that our president would insist on calling ISIS, or more commonly known now as just IS—Islamic State—ISIL.  Why does he continue to do this?  ISIL has slaughtered thousands of people and Christian men, women and children are singled out and tortured, raped and killed.  Isn’t it interesting that so far—to the best of my knowledge—there has not been on Christian refugee brought into our country from Syria?  Why is that?

Mastodon! Underwater Stone-henge in Lake Michigan!

There seems to be an attack on our Second Amendment Rights by the loony-left and those who don’t understand that the Founding Fathers added this amendment to our Constitution because they knew, from history, that governments can become totalitarian, oppressive and harmful to the citizens they rule.  Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot, rounded up the guns and look what happened.  How many Russians died in the Gulags?
