Easy – last year 275,000,000 people visited National Parks in the U.S., netting over $1-TRILLION in discretionary income for the nation. Tell them that there are furry apes running around in the parks, protected, EATING PEOPLE occasionally, and mom-and-pop suburbia aren’t going to come with their tents and their 4-year-olds to camp there anymore. The liberals and tree-huggers aren’t going to let you cut another tree in North America, either, due to deprivation of habitat. We would be the scare-mongered laughing-stock of the world; but worse yet, it would hurt the bankers of the world badly. We don’t hurt the bankers.
