Hitler's Secret Identity: Was it Father Krespi?

A strange story has emerged over the last decade or so claiming that Hitler had actually made a successful escape from Berlin and had lived out the remainder of his days in South America.

Rumors surfaced that suggests he had managed to disguise himself for all these years as a character known as Father Krespi.

Now, Krespi died back in 1982 at the age of 90 but for some reason over 2000 mourners attended his funeral. He was laid to rest in a white marble sepulcher which has been treated like the tomb of a king ever since.

So what is behind this Father Krespi and Hitler link?

The Mysterious Krespi

The white marble sepulcher of Krespi is religiously cleaned by locals on a weekly basis – it is also adorned with flowers constantly, all paid for by anonymous admirers.

When his possessions were being sorted out after his death locals uncovered a highly expensive collection of artwork – worth several million dollars (at least!).

A handful of local Germans examined the collection and came to the conclusion that it was the the private collection of Adolph Hitler.

Hitler had a passion for art and during the war had managed to build up a stunning collection that was never found by the allied forces or the next German authorities.

Not long after Krespi’s funeral on May the 16th, 1982, this collection was rapidly loaded onto a pair of cargo jets and flown off to a secret destination. The collection has not been seen since.

The Chief of Police for the town of Cuenca recorded a strange report just before Krespi’s funeral. In it he claimed that the local area had been near enough taken over by teams of European men. Some of these men were being protected by armed escorts and private security officers.

Teeth

For some reason most of Hitler’s medical records were destroyed by his associates during the final 12 months of the war.

All of the doctors that Hitler had been in contact with also mysteriously disappeared…except for a young dental assistant who had worked on Hitler’s teeth a couple of times.

This dental assistant was eventually captured by Russian forces who used her to identify the burnt remains found in the infamous Berlin bunker.

She only had limited recollection of Hitler’s teeth but this did not stop the Russians from torturing her for days on end…until she caved in and agreed that one of the corpses was that of Adolf Hitler.

Wendell Stephens

Wendell Stephens was a retired US Army Colonel who made a trip to Ecuador in 1981. By chance, halfway through this trip he met up with the strange Father Krespi.

After this initial meeting Stephens became convinced that this Krespi character was in fact the former leader of the Nazi party…but his claims fell on deaf ears.

Nobody would believe him – so he spent the next few months studying as many archive photos of Hitler as he could find.

The more he studied the more convinced he became that this strange priest was in fact Adolf Hitler.

Again, nobody would listen to his claims. He even went as far as describing the art collection he had seen in the priest’s secluded home in the mountains of Ecuador.

Still, nobody believed his claims…

Krespi’s Background

The priest claimed that he was from an Italian/Austrian family in Northern Italy and he had studied in the Vatican in 1943.

He eventually ended up serving as a Novitiate in the Vatican and was handed a position as Curator of Art for the Vatican Achieves. This was the first time in history that a humble Novitiate had been handed this important duty.

During his time at the Vatican he would have had dealings with billions of dollars worth of the world’s greatest art. His position would also have allowed him to receive numerous deliveries of secret, priceless art collections.

In 1956 Krespi was retired from the position of Curator of Art for the Vatican Achieves and sent to the town of Cuenca in Ecuador to carry out priest duties.

Cuenca was already a rather famous town in Nazi Hunter circles as it was rumored to be the hideout of Martin Borman and other high level Nazis that had escaped Germany.

Father Krespi lived a near enough reclusive life in Cuenca except for the religious services he performed.

At the end of each of his services he was known for handing out money to every member of his congregation. He even hired a few of them to protect his mission.

Local villagers claimed that the priest was frequently visited by quiet German tourists…
