Robot wars! Russia unveil humanoid supersoldier called ‘Iron Man’ as terrifying new weapon.

The robot, affectionately named Ivan the Terminator, is a military droid designed to replace people in battle.

New Russian SUPER WEAPONS 2016 – 2017 – The Type 98 – 120mm unguided anti-tank rocket system – The Type 98 (PF-98) is a 120mm unguided anti-tank rocket system developed by Norinco for the People’s Liberation Army as a successor to the Type 65 and Type 78 recoilless guns. It is also known by its nickname, “Queen Bee”.

Meet Ivan the Terminator – Russia’s robotic answer to Iron Man that could be about to change military warfare forever.

The terrifying new robot soldier is the latest in the country’s list of high-tech weaponry as it competes with the US and China in the artificial intelligence stakes.

According to Russian newspaper Komosomolskaya Pravd, the droid is designed “to replace the person in the battle or in emergency areas where there is a risk of explosion, fire, high background radiation, or other conditions harmful to humans.

“The development of a special military robot is one of the priorities of military construction in Russia.” – Mirror
