Mandela Effect Examples That'll Make You Think You Are Going Crazy [Video]

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

This video is previously unseen on youtube, it will give mind boggling examples of the Mandela Effect that have not been heard before. The Mandela Effect refers to a phenomenon in which memories of past events are different to what we perceive to be true, these memories are caused by parallel universes spilling into our own. This video will offer proof that the Effect is real and widespread.

According to the theory, such memories are accounted for by something such as a time travel or a quantum ripple created by changing history and creating sci-fi-style alternate realities. Moreover, that some of us have moved between those realities, hence remembering things that have been written out of our current timeline. Has it ever happened to you that you had a clear memory of something that never happened or it happened in a different way?

The Mandela effect is the pseudoscientific belief that some differences between one’s memories and the real world are caused by changes to past events in the timeline. Many Mandela effect believers believe it is caused by accidental travel between alternate universes.

It was named after Nelson Mandela, whom some people erroneously believed to have died in prison in the 1980s. Another common false memory is thinking the title of the children’s book series The Berenstain Bearsis spelled as The Berenstein Bears.

The Mandela effect has not been explored by mainstream, peer-reviewed publications, and the claim that some false memories are caused by parallel dimensions going berserk is, shall we say, difficult to falsify.

Actually it’s caused by something similar to why you experience déjà vu. A synapse fires off in your brain randomly when viewing something, triggering the feeling you get when you remember something.

As for the Mandela effect, you only think you remember something differently when someone shows you a photoshopped business logo, then the real business logo, and they say ” I absolutely remember it the way it looks in the photoshop!” Then your mind agrees, but in all honesty, it’s just that you never gave a crap before.

Another common false memory is thinking the name Jeffrey is spelled Jeffery, but that’s only how it’s spelled in a parallel universe and..

      holy crap..

Remember when you forgot to look at things differently many, many years ago? – http://www.amnesiaphotography.com

Yes I distinctly remember such an event. I clearly remember watching on the news many years ago a report of actor Kirk Douglas being killed in a helicopter crash going to a golf tournament somewhere in Nevada, near Vegas I think. Of course he just passed away from old age sometime ago. But I remember BOTH. And both seem real…

Ummm…Kirk Douglas is still alive in this reality – he just turned 100!

I’ve had an invisibility experience once in 1994. Me and my girlfriend had taken a day trip to Nysa, Poland just to sightsee, and we wanted to get something to eat. We went into a sparsely occupied restaurant and sat down. 5 minutes later a couple sat down at the table next to us and the waiter immediately gave them menus, then took their order. Same thing happened again at a different table, and all the while the waiter was ignoring us despite us sitting right in the midst of all these people. We were getting hungry and thirsty, so I started hailing the waiter in Polish. We started thinking it was because we weren’t locals, but noticed that the couple at the next table were also Czech. After hailing the waiter at least 10 times and once even waving my hand in his face with absolutely no reaction, we just picked up and left. By that time an hour and 15 minutes had elapsed, and everyone who had come in after us had eaten, paid up, and left.
We wound up getting hot dogs at a stand and made our way to the Czech/Poliish border. They made us both get out of the car. My girlfriend had no problem. They just glanced at her passport and handed it back. Then they swooped down on me and started asking me all these strange questions. Was I Polish? Did I have any Polish ancestors? Did I have any business dealings with the Polish Govermnent? Then they started actually accusing me of being Polish but not admitting to it! Keep in mind, I DO NOT have a Polish name. They also asked me if I speak Polish. I lied, and said “no.” They go in their little booth to have an animated discussion, occasionally glaring in my direction. They also had not searched any part of me or my car the whole time! One of the border guards comes out, angrily hands me my passport and said “each!” (actually “idz,” which means “go” in the imperative singular tense) so I left. Girlfriend asks me what that was all about and what does “each” mean. At that moment I realised I had betrayed the fact that I understood him. When we got to the Czech side of the border, the Czech guards also pulled us out and scrutinised our passports. Again, no car search, no patdown, nothing. They wispered something amongst each other, handed us our passports and we left without them saying a word to us.

        Maybe they didn’t like lesbians?

That’s not it. I’m a guy, and my girlfriend is a woman.
