Demons and Evil Spirits Will Run When You Call on Jesus’ Name

Demons cannot control Christian unless we let them.  We are precious in YHWH’s sight. He wants us to lead a happy life and when we follow His Word is allows us to be able to fight off demons. When we lead a sinful life it tarnishes us and allows a passage for a demon or spirit to take up space inside of you. These spirits take over you and most people have described this as sitting in the back seat of a car watching events take place while the demon is driving the car. They describe this as a very scary, depressing, and horrifying. The following verse shows us how YHWH views us (as precious in His sight):

1 Peter 1:18-19 KJV says:

“ Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”

Also:

1st Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

YHWH gave us the power and the authority over your body.

Luke 9:1-2 KJV

“Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.”

Demons/spirits can and will invade and indwell in us! Their objective is to feel human again just like they did before the Great Flood. They feed on our fears, lust, hate, and every evil act that we do. When a demon/spirit inhabits a body they obtain a greater advantage in their control of that person.  

Here is scripture that tells you what happens when a demon takes over a person.

Matthew 4:24:

“And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.”

Mark 1:23:

“And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,”

Mark 9:17-20:

“And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;

And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.”

Luke 4:30-34:

“ But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.”

Christians should always look at demons as Trespassers. A Trespasser is one who unlawfully encroaches upon the territory of another. Devils and demons have no legal right to you! It is up to you to defend his rights to you if you are Saved. No demon can remain when a Christian is seriously desires the demon to GO!!!

James 4:7 KJV says:

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
