So, though I don’t believe that Nibiru is real or on its way, the fact that people should be prepared for disasters is accentuated by events like Harvey, Sandy, Katrina, etc.. FEMA could only hope that people would be prepared because they have limited ability to deal with disasters involving mass amounts of people who aren’t prepared. And, the US is currently about $20 trillion in debt with no way to fix it. Some real world scenarios (unlike Nibiru/Red Kachina/Planet X-Y-Z) that would result in catastrophic systems failure are:
An EMP detonation
A nuclear exchange (even a limited one)
A major pandemic
Major earthquakes
Major volcanic eruptions
Civil unrest on a large scale
Currency crises (yes, that’s plural because the dollar is tied to the rest of the planet currently)
And the list goes on (this is by no means comprehensive in the slightest). These events are much more likely to occur than any imaginary planet that is hovering out in space somewhere and without much warning. Black swans, though rare, will occur from time to time and things can get crazy in a hurry (look at Houston one week ago vs. today).
