Pole shift hypothesis. The cataclysmic pole shift hypothesis suggests that there have been geologically rapid shifts in the relative positions of the modern-day geographic locations of the poles and the axis of rotation of the Earth, creating calamities such as floods and tectonic events.
A pole shift refers to the Earth’s magnetic field reversing its polarity. If a magnetic reversal occurred today, compasses would point south rather than north.
In the past 15 million years, scientists found that these shifts occurred four times every 1 million years. Though this averages out to once every 250,000 years, switches do not occur at regular intervals. During one period in the Cretaceous, polarity remained constant for as long as 30 million years, though this is believed to be an anomaly. The last pole shift took place 790,000 years ago, causing some scientists to believe that the Earth is due, while others speculate a reversal is already underway.

Question on the first video. Why is it just South America that is experiencing this wobble? If there is a wobble to the entire Earth should not all the continents be experiencing the same thing as South America as to the oceans surging?
Perhaps they are and weather along with the tidal bulge evening out during the day masked the effects in other locations, The US on Monday had an eclipse, meaning high tides possibly the highest possible however the effect unlike moving into the tidal bulge by the Earth moving East showed a movement west. We may just have been lucky. Earth shifts are always accompanied by an effect like a Tsunami.

I have tried to tell the people for several years that the little dipper ( contains the north star ) was now going east to west . The earth has been wobbling for severl years . And as for South America I saw a post that showed it had shifted 250 . This was the explanation for the ocean rising on one side and receding on the other side ! Now go find a star map that is current . The best I could find was 2007 and even then the little dipper was over Canada going around and around east to west . Here is your climate change , it is not mans fault as O nut case states ! Today it has moved southwards but is still going east to west ! Right now in order to see the little dipper rising in the east you must go out about 2:30 to 3:00 am . It will move closer to 12:00 midnight rising within a couple months . I have watched its oattern for years ! And as for the post on South America shifting do a search on South America has shifted 250 miles . Several years ago the planes had to shut down for a short while in order to recalabrate the computers so the planes would not land in the ocean in Florida . .

Enki…are you confusing Magnetic polarity with a Pole Shift. Either way Pole shifts have happen only 3 times in the history of the planet. They come in Billions of years, so no worries there for hundreds of millions of years to come.
If your talking magnetic pole shift no worries there, since the magnetic field has moved in wide swathes many times in the past and the birds are still here, plants still grow, whales still swim and the rain still falls through it all.
Although air traffic control wont be too happy and some of the advances in technology like satellites will have to be re-calibrated.
The thing is, no matter how the Sun and the magnetic field react periodically or cyclically, the earth can handle it. But you may have a point where man is too foolish and ill informed to handle it with what seems to be no more then the instincts of a rabid mole.
What I find additionally interesting is that the professor and university types of those times also dumbed down their students and kept knowledge at a 4th grade level. Not sure if they thought they would survive their students, but it looks like none of them did as the carnage knows no bounds in these situations, ever,… even for professors hiding out in what they thought were full proof safe spaces.
