THE POLICE STATE AND WHAT IT COSTS YOU

The ever growing police state in the United States has been on the minds and lips of many Americans over the last decade or so.

Some say that it is needed for the security of the people and nation.  As for others, they are rightfully frightened by the thought of this expanding menace to our liberties and wallets.

Resist The Tyranny has published many articles outlining corruption and abuses within the police, TSA and DHS, but along with those abuses, what does the police state cost YOU?

To give you a grand total of what every police and government force in the U.S. spends on equipment, would be nearly impossible.  What I have done, is researched a number of random cities and towns across the U.S.

We will start with the easy ones…

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) was founded in November, 2001.  The TSA was known best as the organization was charged with developing policies to protect U.S. transportation, especially in airport security and the prevention of aircraft hijacking.  It is now known as one of the most unlawful, wasteful and liberty infringing agencies on the planet.  The crimes that TSA agents have committed are, but not limited to, over $1 million in stolen money and electronics, selling naked photos of women that they have “had” to strip search, elderly and minor abuse.  In the thirteen years of the TSA’s existence, they have not stopped one single terrorist.  So what does this “security” cost the American taxpayers?  Around $8 billion per year…and growing!
