Bush and Obama the one-two knockout punch for the USA

The nation of the United States is one that rose from the dark days of tyrannical rule of Great Britain and the King. Our Founding Fathers knew just how important it was to break free from that rule and to establish a system of government that was the exact opposite of tyranny under the King of England.

Our Founding Fathers developed and set up a form of government under a Constitution and Bill of Rights to enable freedom and liberty to thrive without the encumbrance of big intrusive government. In their wisdom, they set up a Republic, a nation under the rule of law. Things went relatively smooth for the first one hundred years or so and then cracks began to show in the Republic. Moreover, men brought on these fissures, the system of government as set up by the Founders did not fail, but corrupt men and women who came later failed the Constitution, they failed the Republic, note the following.

Huge cracks began to show during the Woodrow Wilson Administration when both the 16^th and 17^th Amendments to the Constitution, were pushed through, by an all too willing Congress. The most egregious of these and most damaging to the Constitution and Bill of Rights was the 16^th Amendment, which allowed for the taxing of personal income and created the bureaucratic behemoth called Internal Revenue Service. The Wilson Administration and Congress gleefully passed the unconstitutional amendment to our Constitution knowing the power it bestowed upon elected officials and the President.

The shredding of the Constitution did not stop there though. Congress along with the Woodrow Wilson Administration wanted a central bank just like merry old England had so, they passed the Federal Reserve Act in 1913. Do a little research on the Federal Reserve and its scheming masterminds behind it to get a better idea of what it is about. I recommend the book by G. Edward Griffin, ‘The Creature from Jekyll Island’ for a thorough review of the history of the Federal Reserve and banking system.

After the Wilson Administration there was, many other intrusive laws and regulations passed upon an apathetic and an ever more uneducated American public. This was all leading up to the Bush (Clinton too) and Obama Administrations.

Under George W. Bush, two very destructive schemes were put upon American citizens that opened the door for Barack Obama to destroy our freedom and liberty even more than had already been done in the decades preceding.

The first was the passing of the so-called Patriot Act. The Patriot Act passed on October 26, 2001, just shortly after the attacks of September 11. The Patriot Act thus allows tremendously for the expansion of surveillance on American citizens. In addition, it opened the way for the NSA to listen in on all of us even more. In addition, the Patriot Act allows for indefinite detentions and National Security Letters that greatly increased the surveillance powers of the FBI on everyday citizens.

All of this has moved us into a surveillance society and all of these have helped to reinforce the notion of a police state. Please take the time to do your homework on the Patriot Act and find out for yourself just how intrusive, how damaging it is to your freedom and liberty and your future.

Then on October 3 2008, George Bush signed into law the Troubled Asset Relief Program or TARP. It set up a way for United States government to purchase assets and equity from financial institutions in order to bolster up the economy, but …all it really was a gigantic bailout for big banks and big business. Something reminiscent of what Mussolini would call fascism.

TARP and the Patriot Act were arguably the two most destructive acts (besides the Iraq War) of George Bush’s tenure. Overall George W. Bush signed into law 291 Executive Orders.

As mentioned, George W. Bush was the door opener for Barrack Obama and under Barrack Obama’s rule, there has been 204 Executive Orders signed. That is 87 short of George W. Bush but there is still over a year and a half to go in Obama’s reign so plenty of time to catch up.

 Obama is current and his Constitutional destruction is on going and most our familiar with his acts. Such as Obama-Care, Fast and Furious, NDAA, Agenda 21, Benghazi, Net Neutrality, the Veterans Administration scandals, DOJ scandals, bullet banning, the Ferguson riots, Eric Holder, appeasing Iran, breaking down and leaving open the borders (even more than George W), flooding the nation with illegal aliens, and illegal alien amnesty.

Obama is also watering down our Constitution, playing nice with enemies of the USA, giving bailouts, pitting whites against blacks, using the IRS as an enforcer against foes and citizens alike. Targeting both pro-Israel organizations and Christians, making strong attempts to stomp out the 1^st and 2^nd amendments, all but throwing out the 4^th amendment, stomping all over the 10^th amendment…Whew! Are you dizzy yet? Nevertheless, there is even much more but you get the picture.

Suffice it to say the previous administration and the current one have been a one -two-knockout punch for the USA, its people and the Constitution. We find ourselves in a far-cry moment… very different from where our Founders expected us to be almost 240 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Where we go from here is anyone’s guess because we have had well over 100 years of demolition to our Constitution and it has only picked up pace in the last couple of decades.

We are at a point in the history of the United States that would make King George green with envy or for that matter make any tyrant from the past jealous of what those in power in the United States have now.

Therefore, the choice is up to us, up to you to choose from either freedom or liberty or continue down the path to complete servitude.
