Top World scientist in bomb disposal of all kinds, including nuclear bombs, proposes a New Peace Initiative

Man is his own worst enemy when it comes to using his perceived greater intelligence to keep his/her family and others safe.

The United Nations is the greatest attempt to solve World conflicts but it miserably fails to do so in most cases, like in Iraq and Afghanistan with their sponsored illegal wars and interventions.

The UN does not represent World opinion and quite the contrary because of its formation in 1948 by the five countries who had nuclear weapons. The US, UK, Russia, France and China.

They formed themselves into the UN Permament Security Council Members with the dictate no other country should have nuclear weapons without any International Authority or Law to base such on.

Today there are a further ten members making fifteen but they are only temporary members for just two years, chosen on a temporary rotational basis and have no right of Veto.

George Bush and Tony Blair undermined the authority of the UN because they knew they needed a second resolution to wage war in Iraq while the rest wanted Hans Blix’s teams to continue searching for WMDs not having found any.

They tried to get support offering bribes but they could not, so they decided to wage war alone. Koffi Annan should have called for a New Resolution to stop them after President Saddam Hussein had handed overall his SCUD International ballistic missiles and could not Fly his Air force to protect his ill-equipped ground forces.

In addition no WMDs had been found and even if they had, they would have been taken by the weapon inspectors, so the reason of the being a threat was removed.

My proposals for a New World Government would replace the UN and the various bodies would be adopted with new terms of references.

In addition strict terms of membership would be required to be adhered to with no nuclear weapons or the means of producing enriched nuclear material, all monitored by a World Government Inspectorate with members from each Country to host the Inspection teams.

International conflicts would be determined by a Tribunal of twelve judges with no vested interest in any outcome and their findings would have tobe final.

A new Judicial system with a common set of Laws and punishments, would ensure all humans were treated equally.
