Police are "terrified" of red balloons and terrorist clowns

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

A 1956 Oscar winning movie called, wait for it… ‘The Red Balloon’ shows a French mute kid chasing a balloon through the streets of Paris. And not one police officer or person was ‘terrified’!

Fast forward to 2017 and you’ll see how America’s absurd ‘war on terror’ just keeps getting more and more bizarre.

This week, the Lancaster police in Pennsylvania issued a bizarre warning, claiming they are “terrified” of red balloons tied to sewer grates.

Red balloons terrify police

While the police meant this as a joke, the warning is totally serious.

“We want the local prankster to know that we were completely terrified as we removed these balloons and respectfully request they do not do that again.”

If police catch ‘pranksters’ tying red balloons to sewer grates you can rest assured they’ll be charged with domestic terrorism.

If you want proof, continue reading.

Clowns are considered to be possible terrorists

According to the Pennsylvania State Police ‘creepy’ clowns are considered to be possible terrorists and should be reported immediately.

An article in VICE warns, if someone sees a creepy clown they should call the terrorism tip line.

“The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) is providing this bulletin for informational purposes only. The PSP encourages reporting of suspicious activity by calling the toll‐free PSP Terrorism Tip Line at (888) 292‐1919, or by sending an email to [email protected], PSP launched the “See Something, Send Something”smartphone application (app) to help combat terrorism and other criminal activity.”

“The app allows suspicious activity to be captured as a photograph or written note and sent directly to the Pennsylvania Criminal Intelligence Center (PaCIC). Available at no cost to iPhone and Android users, the app also contains information on what to look for and when to report suspicious activity.”

Last year, police in America arrested twelve people for dressing up as ‘creepy clowns.

Police in the United Kingdom have gone a step further and criminalized dressing up as a clown in public.

Do we need anymore proof that the ‘war on terror’ is a lie?

Criminalizing clowns and red balloons to fight the war on terror is asinine, so why are Americans allowing it?

      That is some silly shit.

What if the cop is colorblind and can’t see red wavelengths? Is he/she/it terrified of green balloons then? Shouldn’t there be equal fear of all balloons, regardless of color, tied to sewer grates?

If cops are terrified of balloons, clowns, Stephen King books, or any other innocuous thing, then it’s time for them to do some soul searching and consider a different career. “To Protect and To Serve (unless it involves red balloons tied to sewer grates or creepy clowns)” seems more than a little far fetched.

I thought the same thing Bass_Clef. If they are afraid of stupid things like red balloons then whats next? , and i totally agree with you that they should consider another career , because this is totally rediculous!!! Back in the early 1980s where i used too live out in the middle of nowhere in Colorado, we had a sheriff with only 2 deputies, covering a territory of 30×50 miles with ranches etc etc. Their was some cattle rustling going on and he singlehandedly apprehended the rustlers! , and proved they was the ones doing it through a simple process. 1 county sheriff and 2 deputies covered that area of 30×50 miles!!! He was re-elected consecutively for over 30+ years, because he had the Juevos too stand up too the worst kind of criminals, even out in the middle of nowhere. , and now we have red balloons scaring the police??!!!! OMG! give me a break!!! The only exception i can think of these red balloons is ,. , they know things about these red balloons that their not telling us. Like these red balloons are actually placed into the area and grim warnings are coming from some Real terrorist organization , in connection with the placement of them, like maybe markers for bombs, or something even more either wicked or downright evil . I dont know but if its just red balloons as pranks then please cops of that area ,,,,, you need a new carreer!!!!

    • Hi NSA, kiss my artichoke

No one got the police sarcasm?
Now if there had been 99 red balloons…
