about Comment by Pete at around 12:45pm You are obviously not an employer in California, If there is a uniform requirment the employer has to state it at the time of hiring and has to provide the uniform. AND that is a rule for union or non union. Califronia is the hardest place in the country to terminate an employee And it is NOT “at will” state as far as the employer goes. We can not even terminate some one who does not show up for work for 2 days with out calling and giving a reason, only 3 days and after. This guy needs to sue the place for a lot of money. NO doubt there was a lot of other shirts there with various types of statements and with no signed and informed rule about a dress code with uniforms provided by the union he was ” wrongfully Terminated” See you in court. Save some of that Union money for electing democrats, your going to need it.
