FIGHT THE NDAA / STAND UNITED WITH the ACLU

The Administraton   signed the National Defense Authorization Act  into Law in New Years Eve, and o’bama will forever be known as the Traitor who killed the, 5th Amendment  just as the worse President EVER, G.W.”lil” Bush will be known as the Traitor who signed the Patriot Act into Law. The Patriot Act killed the 4th Amendment, as the Citizens of New York can attest.

In New York , the Jack Booted Police Force, who routinely use excessive force, also stop people on the street with No Probable Cause , and detain ans search Citizens.This will spread, due to the Kangaroo Courts refusal to address the incredible violation of the Constitutional protections given us by the now defunct 4th Amendment , which provided us with protection from ‘unreasonable’ search and seizure. This violation also extends to the Airport’s, where the TSA searches every passenger, without Probable Cause, disguised as ‘protecting the people’. I , for one would rather risk getting on a plane, with the small risk of some nut-job with a bomb, than sacrifice my Constitutonal Rights and protections!

Here is a copy of a letter from the A.C.L.U. . which has vowed to fight this travesty in the Courts, which includes a petitiion to the President , and usurper of Authority Not Granted to him by ” We the People”

The new year has just begun and we’ve already got our first big challenge. On New Year’s Eve, President Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law. It contains a sweeping worldwide indefinite detention provision. And it has no time or geographic limits. It can be used by this and future presidents to militarily detain people captured far from any battlefield. 

Despite initial assurances that he would veto this outrageous bill, President Obama will now be known as the president who signed indefinite detention without charge or trial into law. 

He signed it. Now, we have to fight it wherever we can and for as long as it takes. 

Make it clear you won’t rest until this outrage is reversed. Sign the ACLU’s pledge to fight worldwide indefinite detention for as long as it takes. 

Under the Bush administration, similar claims of worldwide detention authority were used to hold even a U.S. citizen detained on U.S. soil in military custody. The ACLU believes that any military detention of American citizens or others within the United States is unconstitutional and illegal, including under the NDAA. 

With your help, we will fight worldwide detention authority wherever we can, be it in court, in Congress, or internationally. If you believe that no American citizen or anyone else should live in fear of this President or any future president misusing this new detention authority, now is the time to act. 

Commit to fighting indefinite detention for as long as it takes. Sign the ACLU pledge right now. 

Now more than ever, the defense of freedom is up to us. Let’s prove that we’re up to the task.

 Now , I do not always support everything the ACLU does, but this is important, and this and the Voting Booth are the way to fight the morons who passed this Law, and the Moron in Chief who signed it into Law. I do not trust the Government with this type of Authoriuty, just look at the way things are now, and the refusal of the Current Administration to Prosecute the Banksters for the Economic Situation we are on, i.e. the CEO of Countrywide and others. No , they can’t be trusted to do anything of benefit for “We the People”
