Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker's True Grit Saves Wisconsin- Will Other Lanquishing States Follow Walker's Gutsy Example?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

I’ll be blasted to smithereens before gleefully being censored for speaking my mind frankly and honestly, but someone has got to do it. Governor Scott Walker was facing unsustainable union perks that were set to bankrupt Wisconsin in short order; so, he asked the union membership to kick’in about 6% toward their retirement benefits (which ironically happens to be the same amount that non-union employees contribute toward their retirement benefits in the ‘‘private sector”).

Now, I could not agree more, that asking people to voluntarily “give-up” benefits they fought for, won, and were promised, really hurts. It amounts to a breach of truths that unions and private sector bosses have spent decades trying to establish an honest and believable “playing field”. Now, with one fell swoop, the intregrity they fought so hard to stablish, this “believability’, sits ready to be swept away potentially forever. But if the alternative is the bankruptcy of Wisconsin and NO JOBS AT LL, what choice does the Wisconsin Government have?

Moreover, if the unions are so great for the rank and file (we all suspect that the union bosses, with their $700 suits and diamond pinky rings, are making out like ”Gangsta” Kingpins and supposedly carefully tending to a delicate quid pro quo, paying Democratic politicians with government mandated union dues). The question that has suddenly burst fourth from these lovingly cared for gardens of gross corruption. is how come almost FIFTY PERCENT (5o%) of the membership of some unions have quit as soon as they were not forced by laws (supported by union bosses and their government counterpart patsiese) to pay unfair union dues? Moreover, members of teacher’s unions in Wisconsin are reportedly jumping ship as at rates as hih as fifteen (15%) percent.

God Bless you, Governor Scott Walker, for standing up to the corrupt Democrat machine and winning. With more honest leaders like you, we can still save the United States, despite all the vermin who want to see us fail. As a matter of fact, a lot of other states being buried beneath unsustainable union debt (California, New York, and Florida, first and foremost) are watching the results in Wisconsin with keen interest, ready to follow suit on Governor Walker’s gutsy, well planned America-saving maneuver, as fast as they can. Draw your own conclusions.

For the first time in decades, Wisconsin can pay its bills and has a statewide unemployment rate of around 6.2%: 2% LESS than President Obama’s highly suspect national unemployment rate OF AROUND 15% (after all the FALSE statistics are subtracted, and you are left looking at the actual number of people without employment  thaks solely to our President and his ability to “work” with numbers.

Billionaires buy Wisconsin recall election for Scott Walker

      http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/topoftheticket/la-na-tt-billionaires-buy-wisconsin-20120606,0,7775507.story

Two-thirds of the $31 million Walker raised to fight the recall came from out-of-state donors, mostly rich guys who hate unions. The gush of cash going to Walker overwhelmed Barrett’s boots-on-the-ground effort and provided more proof, if any more were needed, that the U.S. Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling — eliminating limits on campaign donations — has dramatically altered the balance of power in American politics.

The Citizens United decision does not apply to big corporations alone; it also frees unions to give as much as they want. But the fact is unions do not have ready access to money on the scale of the billionaire boys club. When just one man, casino king Sheldon Adelson, can write a couple of checks and fund Newt Gingrich’s entire presidential campaign, you know the craps table of electioneering has been tilted in favor of candidates who look after the concerns of the mega-rich.

And guess what? Most of those candidates, just like most billionaires, are Republicans.
