Supreme Court Upholds Obamacare

Did you hear about the sneaky way Obama’s minions convinced the Supreme Court not to overturn Obamacare?

It all rests on the word tax.  Let me explain.  Conservative Justice John Roberts sided with the liberals on a technicality.  Although he agrees Congress is not Constitutionally authorized to force Americans to buy health insurance, he has determined it has the right to tax people who do not purchase the insurance.  How’s that for doublespeak?

But you say a penalty and a tax are not the same thing.  Close enough for Justice Roberts.  

It’s really ironic that Obamacare is valid because it is supposedly a tax.  Back in 2009, when Obama was pushing his plan through Congress, he claimed it was not a tax.  But what’s a broken promise to him, as long as he wins?

Obama used Elena Kagan to prepare the legislation then appointed her to the Supreme Court to defend it.  A reputable judge would have reclused herself from the vote because of conflict of interest.  But Kagan is an Obama girl.
 
Perhaps the only good thing that may come out of all this is a negative reaction at the polls.  Republican governors promise to ignore Obamacare hoping Mitt Romney and a GOP majority in Congress may vote it down after the November election.  I hope you’re right, but let’s not forget Obamacare was inspired by Romney’s program in Massachusetts.
