Are Polls Skewed?

A poll only reflects the opinion of the people who actually take the poll. If more Democrats are online or phone in, then it will be biased toward the Democrats. The same is true of Republicans. Even those other party voters and undecided people effect the outcome when they vote “neither”. For anyone still sitting on the fence, DO NOT let the polls make your decision for you.

Listen to what the candidates are saying. Examine their words carefully. Do the words match up with their record? Have they done what they say they have accomplished or is there a conflict between words and actions? Once you have done this, vote on facts – not personality and promises.

Polls are really popularity contests and are always biased. Don’t let the polls convince you to vote for a candidate and especially don’t let them convince you to not bother voting because a candidate is in the lead. Every vote is vital to our country. Weigh your facts. Make your decision and get out there and vote on November 6.
