My 2 cents:

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953,
about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded
up and exterminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. >From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million
Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.m

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total
of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were
rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million
political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.
Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000
Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000
Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million
educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century
because of gun control: 56 million.

You won’t see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians
disseminating this information.

Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes,
gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans, before it’s too late!

The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them
of this history lesson.

With guns, we are ‘citizens’.
Without them, we are ‘subjects’.

During WW II the Japanese decided not to invade America because they
knew most Americans were ARMED!

If you value your freedom, please spread this anti gun-control message
to all of your friends.

The purpose of fighting is to win.
There is no possible victory in defense.
The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more important
than either.

The final weapon is the brain.
All else is supplemental.

IT’S A NO BRAINER!
DON’T LET OUR GOVERNMENT WASTE MILLIONS OF OUR TAX DOLLARS IN AN EFFORT
TO MAKE ALL LAW ABIDING CITIZENS AN EASY TARGET.

I served in the United States Marine Corps. in 1965 and 1966 in combat in Vietnam gambling life and limb in order to protect my rights and freedoms and the rights and freedoms of all United States citizens and we did so with firearms (a necessary evil). Even those who turned their backs on our government and dodged their responsibility to service in time of war by hiding in Canada had their rights protected and were allowed without penalty to return home back to their United States of America..

I am not unfamiliar with firearms, automatic weapons or handguns and I am not nor ever will be willing to put additional limits on gun ownership or rights to carry. To surrender my right to protect myself or my family or loved ones to a maniacal psychotic individual; who without conscience, whether he or she is or is not able to regulate or control his or her behavior, or whether in control or without control of his or her complete faculties and who arbitrarily and savagely snuffs the lives of any person or persons, man-woman or child and taking them from their families and our society with total abandonment would not be sensible, practical or a reasonable choice of defense.

These our most precious resources, our children, were ripped-off in madness, fury and rage never to be allowed to live their lives fully by their design or choice and in return for their lives perhaps enhance and enrich all of our lives and our communities, cannot and should not go without redress.

In most instances background checks would not have stopped these homicides nor a reduction of numbers of weapons or their facilitators, will bring to light forecasting of any perpetrators intentions.

Being vigilant and prepared to take action in time of crisis is paramount. Taking steps proactively to react promptly is vital and necessary. Although we can take precautions in suspecting those we feel may behave in a way that hints of a troubled individual and without abusing their rights as individuals, we can monitor their behavior or perhaps activities, with suspicion and keep watchful for symptoms of unusual behavior while making symptomatic behavior known to others in a position to make decisions on how to proceed. This cannot be a one step process.

It seems to me that the percentage of murder on the rampage in these United States is considerably minimal realizing we are now at 314, 959, 290 million. I can neither support or justify or appreciate further restrictions on gun rights knowing that the use of a firearm is the last resort to use to protect oneself, family, loved ones or their community if under attack, as it seems to be today.

I will never concede or allow my right to bear arms for protection and self preservation to be diminished. I will not accept our governments desire to circumvent our Constitutional Second Amendment rights no matter what our governments reasoning.

Politically, it seems to me that our United States Constitution and our States Constitutions, our freedoms and our liberty is safeguarded with respect to Thomas Jefferson’s quote:
