UK vs. Japan: 2 Unarmed Societies, 2 Vastly Different Homicide Rates.
Despite both nations being disarmed and having almost no “gun-related homicides,” according to UN statistics*, Japan and the UK still have an astronomical gap in homicide rates. Why? A visit to either country reveals an entirely different culture, education system, infrastructure, and socioeconomic paradigm. This is why despite Japan having a much larger population, even total homicides are lower than the comparatively more violent but less populated United Kingdom – with homicide rates in the UK nearly 3 times higher than those in Japan.
According to the UN’s study, which includes the most recent annual data available, Japan, with a population of roughly 130 million, had a mere 506 homicides over the stretch of a single year. Conversely, the UK, with less than half of Japan’s population (53 million) had 722 homicides. The rates per 100,000 people for Japan and the UK are 0.4 and 1.2 respectively. The UK, despite being an unarmed population, and having virtually no gun violence, still has 3 times the murder rate than the nation of Japan. Those that are murdered in the UK or Japan, are just as dead as any human being murdered by a gun in the United States. And clearly, this indicates that the presence of guns, or their banning, is not a significant factor driving homicides and violence.
Gun Control Doesn’t Work – Ask Mexico.
Despite the hundreds of millions of guns to be found across the United States, with tens of millions of American citizens armed – some very heavily, the homicide rate of America is still below the global average of about 7 homicides per 100,000 people. The US’ homicide rate? 4.8 murders per 100,000.
A nation like Mexico – which is conveniently dismissed by gun control advocates, has – according to the UN – a homicide rate of 22.7 murders per 100,000 people, despite having vastly stricter gun control laws on the books. A visit to Mexico and the United States would, like visiting Japan and the UK, reveal a starkly different culture, education system, infrastructure, and socioeconomic landscape. I do not think so this Debate will ever come to an end. With more and more firearms and gun ranges opening up, increasing street crimes, and increasing interest of people in Shooting sports, unfortunate events with these activities are likely to be increasing in coming years. Hence, the debate will continue until governments come up with a fully protected law against the use of firearms !!

Unless it is an ammendment to the constitution, ratified by a 2/3′s majority by both house and senate, unconstitutional laws will only get the unlawful lawmakers, targets for libertarian constitutionalist, and opinions like yours really dont matter, and executive orders or confiscation will only end in bloodshed.
The only way to end the gun debate is to deport all leftist idiots, or maybe another way .
Demonizing firearms is ignorant at best. Fact: Hollywood’s glamorizing of violence and violent video games are the culprit, constant imagery of violence, blood and gore desensitize young minds. History has proven over and over again, Gun control equals “genocide”, do your homework.

There is no legal debate! The law is clear!
The USA is now the uncontested leader in consumption of Mind Altering Substances. The USA consumes over 82% of the entire world’s production of pain killers, Oxycodone derivatives (Opiates). The prescribed Drugs such as the designer series of SSRI’s are pandemic, with side effects proven by the atrocities committed by users, depending on several factors.
Research the latest mass shootings and a common element is the Drugs and their effect on logic and common sense for many users. No Remorse during the act and aftermath, is only one side effect. The problem goes far deeper than mainstream society, the lowly masses. Leaders, professionals and ‘news’ sources all are involved in consuming their ‘Antidepressants’ to achieve what they now believe is normalcy. Controlling firearms is only their defense reaction to draw attention away from the Real issue. Disarming the USA has History Proven consequences, too deadly to list in one paragraph. The USA is NOT immune to Repeating HISTORY.

What a misguided, uneducated point of view. The global average includes countries like Afghanistan, Sudan, Pakistan and Syria. Yay for America having lower homicidal rates than these countries!
How about you actually compare it to real developed countries. To Australia, New Zealand and Germany etc and lets see just how good the United States pulls up. Look you even say it in your article!

So lets extend this and analyse what you have said. Germany’s homicidal rate? 0.8. New Zealand? 0.9. Australia? 1.0. United States? 4.8. Now why could a developed country like the United States have such a higher homicidal rate than other developed countries? The answer is staring you in the face.
