14 Year Old Shot In the Head At Middle School Shooting In Georgia

Atlanta school officials confirm a shooting at Price Middle School in Georgia. A student was shot at Price Middle School in Atlanta Thursday afternoon, an Atlanta Public Schools board member told Channel 2.
One teacher was also injured, but not shot, sources said.
The student was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in unknown condition.
School officials say two people were wounded in the shooting. One of the victims was a 14-year-old, MyFoxAtlanta.com reports.
Police say they have two people in custody in connection with the shooting, according to MyFoxAtlanta.com.
The school was placed on lockdown and authorities say parents are not being allowed to pick up their children at this time. Price Middle School is located in southwest Atlanta.
A 14-year-old student suffered a gunshot wound to the head Thursday outside a middle school in Atlanta, Georgia, police and school officials told CNN.
The victim was conscious and alert at Grady Memorial Hospital, his mother told CNN affiliate WSB-TV. A fellow Price Middle School student was in custody, according to police and Atlanta Public Schools. No other students were harmed in the 1:50 p.m. shooting.

Actually, the 14 year old is fine and has been released from the hospital. When he left the school, he was sitting up.
What they won’t tell you is that the man who stopped the kid (shooter) was an armed off duty guard. Had he NOT been there with his weapon, there is no telling how bad it would have been.
Oh and the other victim was a teacher with scratches and bruises. They think she was trampled by students trying to flee.
