Psychiatry is not a hard science. Do studies on their “exams” regarding what is considered proper behavior. And then run regression analyses to see if those results hold up in predicting widely accepted views of criminal behavior.
And don’t have the psychiatrists run the study. Inasmuch as they have trouble infiltrating the medical and legal establishments, the doctors and lawyers should run those studies. Otherwise really stupid results will occur, like “oh we tested for deviant behavior like religion beliefs and guess what, we found a whole lot of deviancy.”
My hypothesis is that the shrinks’ budgets need to be shrinked; and a lot of therapists need or are currently getting therapy.
These people need to get real jobs where they adding value.
It’s not a covert plan. It’s just the same old greed and lust for power, which in the medical field equates with money, making some people fabulously rich. More diseases defined = more drugs produced = big, big money.
