The Disarm the Government Librarian's Response to Gregg Re.

Gregg Re at the Daily Caller wrote an Opinion piece on 2/23 entitled “Pro-gun conservatives ignore Constitution in misguided attempts to protect it” which suggests that those fighting against Gun Control on a Constitutional are doing so by ignoring the Constitution. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Gregg, like many people have over time, tacitly accepted the Federal government perspective on the Constitution which is the Federal government is all powerful and the Constitution means whatever the Federal government decides it means at any given moment (and is subject to changes based on the exigency of the moment).

(When you let the other side define the terms and definitions of the argument you will always lose.)

Here is my response to Gregg and why he is not only wrong but wrong because he accepts Federal government assertions as fact.

Do YOU fear the Federal government?

I assume the answer is Yes because anyone aware of the world around them IS afraid. Why should you have to? The government serves the People doesn’t it? Why would you fear a “servant”?
