Time to Disarm the Federal Government
It’s time to disarm the Federal government.
The military clearly needs firearms to carry out its mission of defending the United States from enemies outside our borders.
There is no need however for the Federal government, other than the military, to possess assault weapons, handguns or any other instrument capable of inflicting lethal force on human beings. The U.S. Constitution which, as of Feb 19, 2013, is still the ultimate Law of the United States specifically enshrines the Right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms. It does not provide or grant such a Right to the Federal Government.
Under U.S. law only the People of the United States have such a Right.
The Federal government has NO Police Powr which is granted to the States and the People by the Constitution. The only exceptions to that are the Federal government’s power regarding Federal Property and the Military.
THERE IS NO GENERAL POLICE POWER GRANTED TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN THE CONSTITUTION.
THERE IS NO RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS GRANTED TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN THE CONSTITUTION.
ALL Federal Police Power, which the Federal government has assumed on its own, has been justified as an extension of the Interstate Commerce clause which has been bastardized and stretched so far out of shape as to defy any defense.
Given that the Federal government has NO Police Powers, other than the expections noted above, and NO Right to keep and bear arms, with the exception of the Military, there is NO legal basis for anyone in the Federal government (other than the military) to possess, to keep, to carry or to bear arms. Non-military Federal personnel who carry guns, other than in their role as private Citizens, are in violation of the Consitution of the United States.
It’s time to start working to change the laws. It’s time to start regulating, registering and severely restricting guns possession by the Federal government with the ultimate goal of eliminating all non-military gun possession by the Federal government. The Federal government is granted ONLY the specific powers enumerated in the Consitution with all other power belonging to the States or the people. Since the Federal government is not specifically granted the right to hunt in the Consitution there should be no exceptions for sporting guns. Individual government employees who choose to exercise their right as private Citizens can, of course, keep and bear arms on the basis of being a member of the People of the United States.
The Federal government has no Right to Self Defense as a government since both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution enshrine the Right of the People to replace an government which does not serve them as they demand. Individual employees of the federal government have a Right to Self Defense but only as a private Citizen. If such Federal government employees choose to keep and bear arms for self sefense as a private citizen that right is not forfeited as a condition of government employment.
Given that the Federal government has no Police Power, no Right to keep and bear arms, no right to hunt and no legitimate Right to self defense (since Self Defense is an Individual Right) there is no justification for the non-military portions of the Federal government to be armed.
The only possible use by the Federal government of guns is for the use of deadly force against the people fo the Unted States. Since the Constitution specifically requires Trial by Jury and Due Process of Law before individuals can be deprived of Life or Property and since only the States and the people have Police Power there is no Consitutional basis for the Federal government to employ deadly force against an American Citizen. Therefore there is no justification for the Federal government to posses the means of inflicting dealy force.
Such use of force is the first step towards tyranny and is the very reason the People of the United States have the Right to keep and bear arms.
The Federal government as of 2012 and 2013 has publiclly stated that it has the Right to pass judgement on and execute American Citizens (with the additional collateral deaths of other people being considered incidental) WITHOUT Due Process as REQUIRED by the Constitution. This is a direct violation of the Constitution of the United States.
The Federal government as of 2012 and 2013 has publiclly stated that it has the Right to Detain American Citizens INDEFINITELY without Due process of Law simply by Act of Congress and Executive order. This is a direct violation of the Constitution of the United States.
Such actions in violation of the U.S. Constitution and the growing number of atrocities and crimes carried out by the Federal government is endless. Waco. Ruby Ridge. Elian Gonzales. SWAT Team raids on farms, private citizens, guitar manufacturers makes it evident that the federal government is not responsible enough to posses firearms.
Congress needs to act.
The People of the United States need to act.
Contact your Congressman and Senator. Demand that the Federal government be disarmed before more people die and more crimes are committed that turn the United States into a pariah before other nations. Correct the problem before the American People are required to act.
Support candidates who believe in disarming the Federal government. Contribute money to candidates and organizations which support disarming the Federal government. Vote for candidates who support disarming the Federal government.
Lets put an end to the clear and present danger of rogue government employees and out of control agencies having the capability of inflicting deadly force on the American people.
Let’s return the Federal government to it’s proper role as the Servant of the people and not it’s Master.

p.s. Added several hours after original posting…. I went out and registered a new domain name to create a place to discuss and debate this idea. The more I think about it, the more I think the idea of Disarming the Federal Government has serious merit. We may not be able to accomplish it anytme soon but the idea behind it is one that defintely bears debate and discussion. Just working on getting the site ste up but it makes sense to have the discussion.
How did the United States get to the point where there are people who believe that ONLY the government should be armed. Has the entire world forgotten History?

The Federal government (Hoover specifically) used the outrage over the Lindbergh kidnapping to convince Congress to authorize the carrying of firearms by FBI agents in 1938. Prior to that the FBI was an INVESTIGATIVE bureau, not a Law Enforcement Agency.
Prior to that date there were actually very few Federal “Criminal” laws and most of the ones that existed applied to Federal Property and were enforced by Federal Police permitted by the Constitution’s granting of Police power to the Federal government in the military and ON FEDERAL PROPERTY.
Prior to that time all Criminal Laws in the United States were State Laws and were enforced by State Law Enforcement Officers based on the Police Powers granted to the States by the Constitution.
It wasn’t until after that date that the Federal government started pretending that the Interstate Commerce Clause applied to everything made or used in the United States and therefore gave the Federal government control over every aspect of life and property in the United States.
What, this is ridiculous federal agents are citizens and have the same constitutional rights. I agree they should be disarm and jailed but only because their blatant in our face treasonous traitors not wanting to lose their extremely high paying jobs with paid vacations, 100% paid hospitalization, pensions and other perks like they can murder with impunity. The feds collaborate by comforting, aiding and abetting an infiltrating foreign enemy illegal alien usurper obama a foreign british subject espionage spy, a criminal takeover using death threats and coercions for an enemy-conquering communist china to complete their new world order u.n. one world government. The feds have been proven complicit accomplices that are in fact terrorizing peaceful American citizens especially those of us defending our country patriots and constitutionalists. I don’t know if you noticed but I differentiated between an individual’s Right to Keep and Bear Arms and the Federal government’s right.
Every government employee has an individual right, as a private Citizen, to Keep and Bear Arms, the same right as you and I. As one of the People of the United States his Right to Keep and Bear Arms shall not be infringed.
As a Federal government employee however, unless he/she is a member of the military or a Federal Law Enforcement Office whose duty is to enforce Federal Laws ON FEDERAL PROPERTY and ONLY ON FEDERAL PROPERTY, that person has no right whatsoever to possess a firearm simply as a VIRTUE OF or BECAUSE that person is an employee of the Federal Government.
One’s status as a Federal Employee, except in the limited cases mentioned above, has no bearing on one Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Only one’s status as a private Citizen.
The Federal government has the right, as does any property owner, to deny permission to carry guns on their property so the Federal government COULD, if it chose, deny an employee the freedom to exercise their 2nd Amendment Rights but they certainly have no power to ALLOW a Federal employee to Bear Arms when off of Federal property.
(With reasonable exceptions of course; e.g. a Federal Law Enforcement Officer traveling between his home and Federal property, when in Hot Pursuit of a Criminal Suspect as is allowed in most jurisdictions. Those exceptions would of course be subject to the laws of the State within whose borders the Federal property lies)
