Just before last year’s election, I broke a story concerning  a letter that the AFL_CIO was sending to members in the Western part of the country.  The letter informed members that their voting record was a matter of public record.  They then ran off a list of candidates they should vote for.  My source for that story was concerned that her husband would have to vote a straight liberal ticket, otherwise the union could find out and cost him his job.

That is what the AFL_CIO wanted members to think.  The truth is that whether you voted or not is public record.  However, they had no way of knowing who you voted for.  Joel Pollak of Breitbart Big Government, contacted me and I supplied him with the original letter.  See the letter here.

Indeed, unions send out millions of letters every election in support of the liberals they own in congress and the White House, but this one is especially chilling, since it intimidates the members to vote for the candidates that union bosses pick for them, with the implied threat that their votes can be checked later.  This would especially affect workers in the trucking industry and construction, who depend on pick up work at their local union hall.

Even though Breitbart ran with the story, it kind of laid there and died.  I have learned much since then.  And when I investigated the Colorado State police training program that taught that Christians were a threat to join sovereign citizen movements, I knew what to do.  I posted my findings in every site I could find and it caught fire and led to Glenn Beck spending three days on the subject, culminating with an interview with Undersheriff Ron Trowbridge, of the Prowers County Sheriff’s Department.

I have no special skills in uncovering corruption.  It’s a matter of being in the right place at the right time and understanding the repercussions   involved.  Each and everyone reading this letter have the ability to do the same.  With a myriad of special elections and the 2014 senate races coming up, you need to keep an eye out.  You are the best defense that liberty, justice, and honest voting have.  Use the social media.  Urge everyone to repost.

The AFL_CIO got away with their tactics in 2012.  But if we are vigilant we can stop future abuses.  And do not depend on a Breitbart or similar site to do your work for you.  I did and I regret it.  This is their complete story.  (They have even removed the letter from their post)  I dropped the ball.  Don’t repeat my mistake.
