The New American Workforce What would you say if I told you that companies will be getting what amounts to a $3,000 dollar subsidy for hiring an illegal alien? That’s exactly will happen if illegals are given provisional status in the US. You see companies pay fines for not carrying insurance for their employees. Up to $3,000 to be exact. But since illegals won’t be eligible for Obamacare (supposedly) employers can hire an entire crew of illegal aliens and they do not pay a fine for not providing them with healthcare.
It would be bad enough that these illegal aliens would be eligible to compete with Americans for jobs but to actually have a big advantage is nothing short of outrageous. The young and minorities are experiencing extremely high unemployment and with this, those numbers could go through the roof. And that also means as American’s hours are cut, these illegal aliens can work as many hours as they and their employers want.
So why would employers ever hire an American again? Unless they absolutely have to, they won’t. And how many part timers will find themselves out of work because of that? Companies could hire 3 fulltime employees and wipe out 4 part timers working the maximum of 29 hours a week without paying the fine or buying them health insurance. That’s lunacy. Let’s hope that the house will save us from the liberals like Babs Boxer and Marco Rubio in the senate.

Hello Steven, actually he may not have phrased it well, but the thirteenth/ fourteenth amendments were changed and thereby changed our status. These are part of the many was adjustments made when US became a corporation.
