It seems we have once again reached a time in human history where technology and basic human rights are reaching a crossroads.

New technologies posses the power to both empower and impair. We have witnessed this throughout history.
Something as seemingly simple as a sword, has brought great empowerment as well as become a detriment to many. But over time, humanity was able to recognize that when this technology was centralized and available to only a specific group, it became a detriment to their basic human rights and to their ability to live freely. As a result, the people revolted and decentralized the power.

Today however, technologies have become very complex, and at times undetectable to the uninformed.
Today there is not a group wielding a sword at us (at least not yet) but is wielding far more powerful and far reaching technologies. As humanity begins to recognize this we are beginning to see yet another need to decentralize the power. To self regulate. (Read More)
