Last week, Barack Obama described the Ferguson riots following the police shooting death of Michael Brown, a black 18 year old who had aspirations of being a “gangster” as people being “rightfully” angered over the shooting. Days prior to that statement, Eric Holder dispatched up to 50 FBI agents to descend upon the smallish city of Ferguson to investigate the local shooting. This took place under the shadow of the race baiting arrivals of both Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson into Ferguson as well.
To date, perhaps the most troubling aspect of the ongoing conflict, beyond the death of the young man himself, is the moment Attorney General Holder attempted to dictate to the Ferguson Police that they should not release surveillance video showing Michael Brown engaged in strong-arm robbery. At one point, the six foot four, four hundred pound Brown throttles a much smaller store employee by the throat before making his way back outside with the stolen goods in his hand.
