The British Empire’s operation to launch Jeb Bush’s presidential candidacy has to be shut down now, as fast as possible, Lyndon LaRouche stated today. And a reorganized Democratic Party, in the post-Obama period and with Bill Clinton playing a key leadership role, has to provide the crucial steps for the government to pull the United States, and the world, back from the brink of looming catastrophe.

On the current course, we are on a trajectory for financial blowout of the entire trans-Atlantic system, and for escalating provocations against Russia and China that could lead to global thermonuclear war in the very short term. Russia and China have made it abundantly clear that they are girding for such a war, both militarily and financially. But, along with the other BRICS nations, they have also spelled out a positive policy of global economic development which the United States is also invited to join.

The United States has to change course, from the disastrous 15 years under Bush and Obama. The revelations about CIA torture —on Bush’s watch, but covered up and protected by the Obama administration—has now given us a chance to remedy the great evil that has wrecked the United States. Our image before the world is in shambles, as people across the planet read in horror what Sen. Feinstein reported; and this branching point must be seized as an opportunity to turn the U.S. back into the republic it was founded to be. It is a short moment in history, and it must be used wisely.

The first step, LaRouche emphasized today, is to get Jeb Bush down quickly, because with him comes the entire Bush dynasty of grandfather Prescott, who helped finance Hitler’s rise to power, and the disastrous presidencies of George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush. We must also destroy the entire apparatus in the Republican Party that sanctions these policies, and that has protected the Obama presidency from necessary impeachment—the way House Speaker John Boehner has done.

That also means that Hillary Clinton will be in no position to maintain her prospective candidacy in the Democratic Party. She will have to take her hat out of the ring, and leave the path clear for Bill Clinton to provide needed leadership for Democrats to regroup around a program for recovery. That means Wall Street will have to be put out of its misery; the physical economy geared back up, based on cooperation with the BRICS nations; and a lasting war-avoidance policy put in place with Russia and China, in particular—along the lines sculpted by Lyndon LaRouche and his Russian interlocutors, such as the late Stanislav Menshikov.

Jeb Bush ─ A Chip Off the Old Nazi Bush-Block

There has been a full court press, led by the surviving Bush family members but getting mass press coverage and support, to back a presidential campaign by GW Bush’s younger brother Jeb. George W. Bush himself appeared on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday Dec. 7, promoting his new book on what he calls his “love affair” with his father, George HW Bush, the son of Hitler- sponsor Prescott Bush. Asked about Jeb’s intentions, he said: “He knows I want him to run. If I need to reiterate it, I will. Run, Jeb. I think he’d be a great president.” He opined that Jeb would beat Hillary.

Jeb’s other brother, Neil, told Bloomberg on Dec. 8 that Mommy Barbara Bush has given her support: “I think she has come around now, honestly, because so many people have come up to her and said, ‘Jeb’s the best-qualified guy.’ So even my mom, I think, is starting to swing a little bit.”

Other Bush-ites and pundits are chiming in that he will soon announce his campaign, a danger to mankind which Lyndon LaRouche has insisted must be stopped if civilization is to survive the current existential crisis.

A preliminary review of Jeb’s history shows the character of the man as indeed in keeping with the fascist tradition and the danger of a fascist US under Republican Party control.

• NEOCON IMPERIALIST – Jeb was one of the original signators on the “Statement of Principles” of the neocon haven, the Project for a New American Century (PNAC) in June 1997, along with Dick Cheney, Elliott Abrams, Eliot A. Cohen, Lewis Libby, Donald Rumsfeld, Francis Fukuyama, Frank Gaffney, Paul Wolfowitz, William Kristol, and “Mr. Victoria Nuland” Robert Kagan.

• REGIME-CHANGE SUBVERSION: Jeb was a founding board member of the IRI (then called the National Republican Institute for International Affairs) in 1985, the Republican wing of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), which runs color-revolution regime-change policies worldwide, including the Contra operation (Ollie North called them “Project Democracy”).

• TERRORIST SUPPORTER – In 1990, Bush interceded with his father, then the President, to pardon Orlando Bosch, an anti-Castro Cuban CIA asset who committed multiple terrorist acts, including the 1976 bombing of a Cuban civilian airliner in which all 73 people on board were killed, and participating in the plot which assassinated Chilean minister and diplomat Orlando Letelier. Papa Bush complied and granted Bosch a resident permit.

• DRUGS AND TERROR: In 1983 Jeb was a business partner with networks in Florida deeply involved in drug trafficking and the Contra covert war against the Sandinistas in Nicaraqua, as well as the organized crime network of Meyer Lansky. Contra operator Jack Terrell wrote in 1987 for Progressive Magazine: “Jeb Bush was the conduit to the White House through various Cuban organizations” for the covert Contra operators.
