Hillary Scams The American People…Again

 Hillary has been rushing to cover up the crimes she has committed. This article is going expose exactly how Hillary Clinton scammed many of you with her private email account as she told you it was no big deal. What Hillary has done IS an extremely serious matter.

Hillary Clinton, a presumptive presidential candidate for the Democrat party, is spinning like a first rate DJ in an attempt to hide her criminal activity as Secretary of State. Liberals will say that what she did wasn’t’t criminal and, in fact, it was George Bush’s fault. Clinton used a private email account during her time as Secretary of State. What’s the big deal, you may ask? Or maybe your family will ask when you express your disgust for Clinton. I’ll explain what the big deal is from a technology and transparency standpoint.

As I have written before, I am a network admin by day and a mediocre writer by night. I deal with email, and more importantly, exchange servers on a daily basis. When the networks began reporting that Clinton had used a private email, the majority of the American public immediately thought, “So what? I use GMail, too.” She wasn’t using GMail or any other email program that you and I would use. What she was using was a private email server.

It is now being reported that Clinton had a private email exchange server set up on her property in New York. This means that she controls exactly what emails are saved and which ones are deleted. There are no back-ups of her emails if she doesn’t want there to be. This also means that those deleted emails are non-recoverable, because she has control of the hard drives where her emails would have been stored.

Protocol for government officials is to use .gov based email addresses. This serves several purposes. It isn’t just to make her life inconvenient or to make her live like a peasant. The purposes are transparency, accountability, and access. All government emails are to be stored by the sending and receiving parties. All emails and communications made by a government official are subject toFreedom of Information Act requests.

The Freedom of Information Act’s (FOIA) sole purpose is to allow the American public to see exactly what our public servants are doing with our money and our government on our behalf. Clinton sees herself as above the law. Her sole purpose in setting up her personal email exchange server was so that she could control exactly which emails could be seen by the American public.

She claims that she has turned over all emails that pertained to her official capacity. Are we ready to accept her word for it? I’m not.

The emails that she deemed “private” were not saved—this means they were destroyed.  This administration seems to have real issues when it comes to technology, especially the legally mandated preservation of email communications. The former IRS official Lois Lerner’s hard drives inexplicably crashed  (two of them in 10 days) preventing the recovery of thousands of her official emails.

Hillary finally addressed the allegations in a press conference in an attempt to appease the American electorate, telling us that the emails she destroyed were of no importance.

Clinton said,

“At the end, I chose not to keep my private, personal emails—emails about planning Chelsea’s wedding or my mother’s funeral arrangements, condolence notes to friends as well as yoga routines, family vacations, the other things you typically find in inboxes.”

She continued,

“They were personal and private. They had nothing to do with work. I didn’t see any reason to keep them.”

She also gave us, the tax payers, this reassuring tidbit,
