Saudileaks 14: Docs Disclose How France Mentors Saudis to Rally Support for Overthrowing Syria’s Assad

Saudi Arabia had tried to unite the Syrian opposition to topple the Damascus government and President Bashar al-assad with the guidance provided by France, disclosed one of the documents released by the Yemen Cyber Army after it hacked the Saudi Foreign Ministry in May.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry was hacked by the Yemen Cyber Army in May, and a copy of its information was sent to FNA and another one to the whistleblower website WikiLeaks.

One of the document released by the YCA discloses that Saudi Arabia has sent an envoy to the Vatican in 2012 to meet the foreign minister, Dominique Mamberti, to convince the world Catholic Church leader to throw his weight behind the war of militancy against the Syrian government by promising that the next regime will not massacre the minorities in Syria if Assad’s government falls.

Iraqi Forces Nearly Complete Control over Entire Baiji Region

The Iraqi army, backed by volunteer forces, gained control of nearly all parts of the Baiji region after weeks of fierce clashes with ISIL terrorist group.

The army and the popular forces are now in control of over 95 percent of Baiji in Salahuddin province, FNA dispatches said.

Reports said tens of ISIL terrorists have been killed in the clashes, adding that many of the militants’ casualties carried IDs showing that they were from Chechnya and the Caucasus region.

On Monday, the Iraqi forces tightened their grip on a strategic town in Salahuddin province near Baiji.

The Iraqi troops backed by the volunteer forces are now only few kilometers away from Chini town after liberating the oil city of Baiji.

Popular fighters were fighting with the ISIL terrorists in the areas in the vicinity of Baiji, pounding the terrorists’ positions. Chini is located in the Western side of Baiji.

Reports said the Hezbollah rocket and missile attacks on the surrounding areas of Baiji have left, at least, 50 ISIL terrorists wounded and dozens more injured.

Last week, the Iraqi forces retook Baiji city from the ISIL terrorists.

The Iraqi forces managed to fully liberate the city from the control of ISIL, and raised the Iraqi flag over the governorate building, an informed source said.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Syrian Druze Residents Kill Takfiri Terrorist in Golan Heights

A group of Syrian Druz residents attacked an Israeli ambulance in the occupied Golan Heights and claimed the life of a Takfiri terrorist.

The wounded terrorist was killed near the Druze town of Majdal Shams on Monday as he was being transported to Israel for treatment.

The Israeli ambulance was carrying two wounded Takfiri militants near the Druze town in the Southern foothills of Jabal al-Shaykh mountain, North of the Golan Heights, when it was raided by more than 150 residents.

One of the terrorists succumbed to its injuries after the attack as they were being airlifted to the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.

Two Israeli troops also suffered slight injuries in the attack and were taken to the Ziv Medical Center in Safed.

The latest development came two weeks after al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra front terrorists massacred at least 20 Druze in Northwestern Syria.

According to a report released this week, the terrorists who have sustained injuries during the heavy fighting over a strategic town in Quneitra are taken to Israel for treatment.

“An Israeli army unit transferred the terrorists who were wounded in today’s clashes in the surrounding areas of the town of Hazar to the occupied territories for treatment,” local sources told FNA on Sunday.

The Israeli army took the wounded militants to the field hospitals in the Occupied Golan Heights set up by the Israelis.

Earlier reports had informed that Israel had opened its doors with Syria in order to provide medical treatment to the gunmen of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), al-Nusra Front, Al-Qaeda terrorist groups who were wounded in the ongoing fighting against the Syrian army.

Saudileaks 23: Docs Display Saudi-Western Support for Syrian Militants

A Saudi foreign ministry cable gained in the May cyberattack by the Yemen Cyber Army clearly shows that Riyadh, Washington, Paris, London, Ankara, Doha, Amman, Kuwait and Abu Dhabi are running joint efforts to back up and finance terrorists in Syria to overthrow the Damascus government.

The document, which begins with the words “Top Secret” and “Urgent” at the top, shows that former Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal has asked former Minister of Defense Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to elect someone as Riyadh’s envoy to attend the 2012 secret session of the countries which support and finance the dissident militants, including the US, Turkey, France, Britain, Qatar, UAE, Jordan and Kuwait.

Dissident: Syrian Gov’t to Remain in Power Due to Iran, Russia Logical Stances

A Syrian opposition politician underlined that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will remain in power due to the logical stances adopted by Tehran and Moscow vis-à-vis West’s support for terrorism in the Arab country.

“Syria’s military developments show that the Damascus government will remain in power and this can be proven by the unchangeable (and rational) stances of Iran and Russia,” Politburo Member of Syria’s National Development Party Wael al-Hassan told FNA on Tuesday.

Al-Hassan called on the foreign-based opposition groups to abandon their relations with the regional countries, and said, “The incumbent Damascus government is the legitimate representative of the Syrian nation who won last year’s election in Syria… .”

He underlined that the present conditions of Yemen necessitate collective efforts to fight terrorism, and said, “We witnessed the Syrian people’s support for the government and nation during the recent terrorist attacks on Hasaka and Sweida.”

Last week another opposition politician also said that Syria’s foreign-based dissidents have received money from the Riyadh government to release the US dictations as the final statement of their recent meeting in Cairo.

The foreign-based Syrian dissidents in a recent meeting in Cairo issued a statement which is against a peace plan proposed by the Russian government.

“It is quite evident that the US has dictated the statement prepared by the foreign-backed dissidents in their Cairo meeting and Saudi Arabia has provided the financial backing for it… ,” Noufel Noufel, the secretary-general of Syria’s Democratic Vanguard Party (Al-Talia’a Democratic Party), told FNA.

He noted that Israel, the US and Saudi Arabia have formed an alliance to replace the present Syria with a new country comprising of different tribes to pave the way for creating tribal differences in a bid to guarantee security of Israel.

“The Al Saud is well informed of the Arab nations’ hatred for the Riyadh government’s financing of the terrorist groups in Syria and massacre of the Syrian citizens as well as its aggression against Yemen… ,” Noufel added.

More than 200 figures from the armed and opposition groups residing abroad attended the June 8-9 gathering in Cairo.

The foreign-based Syrian groups offered an alternative to the National Coalition, the exiled opposition bloc that is recognized and supported by Western and some Arab countries such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia
