It would be nice if some of these “journalists” would actually take the time to type out a story for me to read. I never watch the videos.
Neither do I. A study was done and found that people are much more likely to lie in a telephone call than an email. The same logic applies: a video gives no tame for reflection and so it is easier to lie. A written transcript allows for a careful consh ideration.
For this reason, I will not do business or other detailed dealings on the phone; I insist on a written record so I can both check the details and then later, if something is in dispute, I can easily check back.
People who get their ideas from videos are at a great disadvantage and much easier to manipulate.
